This would contribute a lot of additional protection to your camera, as well as would allow multiple modifications, like placing camera vertically on a tripod or adding holding additions on sides.

I picked up this cage for the ZV-E10 to add some protection and to give some extra grip for the camera. It is very well made, with a metal and wood construction. The wooden grip is great and adds an organic feel to the camera. I will give the wooden grip a light sanding and re-varnish it with a better quality marine varnish, but that is more of a personal preference. It is great out the box.

I love the quality of the cage but cannot recommend it due to how the top of the frame blocks access to the power switch. You can see the amount it blocks from the top down pictures on this listing. I want to love it and keep it but unfortunately I'm going to have to replace it due to it making the power button inaccessible unless you have a small metal object with which you can slide the power switch. I use a small Allen wrench every time I need to turn it on. There is no way to turn it on with your finger and especially not if you have an external battery and monitor mounted to the cage like I do. The wooden handle looks nice but is slightly loose and didn't have an option to tighten it. While this isn't a major issue and I can live with it, I can't use this cage with the power slide being blocked. I cannot recommend this product.

The cage fits very well to the Sony ZVE10, not only that it looks cool! As you can see in the photos my zve10 is now look much nicer than before. The cage also has a lot of thread holes so you can attach a lot of accessories in it. 100% recommended to everyone!

Defective and lazy design, blocks the shutter for z -10e. I would not recommend this
