Our dog LOVES this bed
I have a tall 90 lb lab that can easily take up 1/2 of our king size bed when he stretches out. This bed is plenty big for him and he loves it. He has less motivation to get on our couch since he has a couch of his own now! We got the lx size.

This is a GREAT dog bed
This is a GREAT dog bed. My dogs really like it. Dogs love to rest their heads on the bolster. Tip: buy a waterproof cover for the foam bed to help it last longer.

... my Rottie can't get his head up on them comfortably, so we're left with a bed he won't ...
Bumpers are so huge my Rottie can't get his head up on them comfortably, so we're left with a bed he won't use and too big to return. I have to figure out how to alter the bumpers so I've not totally wasted my money.
