Great read, lots of twists and turns but in the end, it all falls into place. There are lots of laughs, cried and real life to this book. I think because the characters are real is the reason it’s such a good read. Defiantly a fan and looking forward to the next one about this band.

This was the BEST book I have read in a very long time. This is the book you place in your freezer for safekeeping and preservation. ♥️ Wow. 💥🧨🏆This story was an absolutely incredible journey of love, loss, heartache, battle of wills, laughter, unexpected surprises, sadness and had such layers of complexities as it went on. I found myself not even realizing how much I had read so quickly in a matter of days, and I’m usually a much slower reader and have the attention span of a butterfly in a hurricane, but this book stayed my hand, mind, and heart, and allowed me to truly soak it in and appreciate every single moment, feeling, and word without it even occurring to me that I had just completely devoured 700+ pages! I didn’t want it to end 😭 These characters took me for a ride that I never expected, and I haven’t quite been on in a very long time.I don’t even know what to say about it, it is an experience and had all the things I loved. Drama, angst, heartache, first love, a vulnerable heroine who isn’t perfect, a broken/flawed Hero, whom the heroine sees so much value and worth in, despite him hating himself and his situation. Sigh. I just couldn’t get enough of these characters. And usually I’m not as intrigued by side characters but this story had me interested in every single one. Chandler, Memphis, Josh, Skyler, Storm, Quinn…heck, even George! Lol. I found all the characters to be diverting and wanting to know more about the ones that weren’t on page, when the Hero and heroine were. I was just very involved and lived in this story, usually that doesn’t happen a lot unless the romance/story moves me, and this one did.I can’t wait to read Skyler and Memphis’ story, and can’t wait to see a bit more Chandler too. 🙂 I actually liked him too (Chandler) even though at times he seemed uptight/jerky, he cared about the band’s success more than anything and I truly believe he did what he always thought was best for them and their future opportunities ♥️As far as my most liked side characters, I’d love it if Storm and Quinn got their own book. I felt a very strong connection between those two and I believe that is one age-gap romance that would blow the rest out of the water in this trope, should it ever come to fruition and be written. I absolutely appreciated their banter and moments together where she was getting on his nerves and acting bratty, yet we saw very subtle moments of care and vulnerability from Storm that we usually don’t see when he’s with anyone else, save for maybe the h, Lennon.Also I loved how despite her juvenile characteristics, she held a fiery and loyal disposition toward the band and her family (her brother, Phoenix) I loved when she threw her drink at Memphis baby mama for the vile things she was saying about her own brother! Whatever happens, lookout world because Quinn will definitely be an amazing heroine if she is ever written. I loved S/Q and truly hope they will get a story one day ♥️ That would be amazing if they did, especially because she’s becoming an actress and he’s a rock star who is also in the entertainment industry! A parent has early onset dementia. There are two funerals in this book. (Not the H/h) A side character is abused (not on page) but is brought in afterwards almost unconscious, bleeding and broken due to physical abuse suffered at home. Side characters are being cheated on.*Couple journey from the last weeks of high school in the first part of the book, to a few years post-graduation when h is in college and H is now a rockstar, after that first tiny part in the beginning, they are in their early 20’s for the rest of the story. There are a few time jumps by years (like after high school), then 3 months later in the epilogue.Band--Phoenix (singer)-Storm (drums)-Josh (bassist)-Memphis (guitar) (I hope I remembered these correctly!)

Plenty of angst between the two characters and a whole lot of sex. Good story line that kept me interested but the last few chapters and ending left me feeling incomplete. I understand why the author ended it in such a way and I love seeing how the main characters have changed and grown. But it also feels like a set up for a second book and not for these characters. So I’m sure if there is a second book I will get some insight on how they ended up but it will only be bits and pieces. It’s not a total cliffhanger but it leaves you wanting more so bravo Ashley Jade I’m hooked and hope to see more from not only these characters but the other characters as well. Your books are very well written and I love how you have that perfect amount of darkness and light in your characters. Plus the female characters have this strength to them that I love.

Ashley without a doubt, keeps on writing amazing and addicting books. This is definitely a change for me, not always reading rockstar romances but if it’s by Ashley- I can promise I’ll read anything she gives me. I’ve loved her since I read the RHA series. She draws you in with her writing, making you want more and more. I haven’t been disappointed once with what I’ve read by her, I’m just more excited to always know what’s next in the projects. It doesn’t help that her books pull you in each time, just makes a reader want to keep going when they know they have to sleep. The power of this woman’s style of writing will keep you going back for more pages. Keep on doing what you do, there’s too many reasons not to obsess over Ashely’s heroes and heroines. Each time ashley says she’s got plans for more books, i preorder as soon as I can because that’s how much I love and enjoy her style of writing. This book will take you all over the place with emotion: I went from happy to slightly annoyed to slightly mad to very happy and that’s with Phoenix as our hero, feeling all those things for Lennon. Phoenix’s character is unpredictable, you either could love him or hate him in a good way. This book is pure perfection like the others Ashely’s written.If you are a lover of rockstar romance with second-chance elements, this is the one for you. I promise you’ll jump into an Ashley Jade hole, quite literally because she never fails to pull in new readers or current. I can’t wait to see everyone’s reactions, it’s amazing! I’m in love with Lennon and Phoenix as much as the other couples I’ve come to love. Phoenix and Lennon have gone through the loops Ashley threw them, they’ve been through a lot to have their second-chance come through. Ashley knows how to put her readers on edge, it’s definitely normal with her writing style. I tell you readers the power Ashley’s books hold over me since the beginning, is like magic and this was my book to be on a binge about. I’m in awe of all her book couples I’ve gotten to read and can’t wait to read many more. She works her magic on me, I’m never disappointed with her and fall in love with her even more day after day. If you’re a reader who hasn’t read her, I recommend try her books and if you like them that you review them. I promise she won’t disappoint, she’ll just be thankful you gave her books a shot. My emotions start to roll around while reading Ashley’s books, it pulls me to become sad when something is going on and compels to be happy that it went the way it was meant to. I assure you if there was a 10-10000 star rating button, this woman would be getting mine all day long. Her passion is in so many of her books that you can feel how much she puts into a book and how much heart it takes her to create a new storyline. I am so glad I got to go on the journey into Lennon and phoenixs story, can’t wait for what’s to come next. This book is so addicting, I’d rather lose sleep than go to bed. All I ever wanna do is binge read a good book and this is pure perfection making me want more. Also, that ashley always gives playlists to go with these stories is always a nice change for my playlists. You know it’s a great book when you tell your friend you’re going to sleep but sneak in another chapter, I’m quite honestly not ready for this story to end. I love that these playlists are there for us to listen to while we read her stories especially since I’m into a lot of her songs she listens to.Also, there is a HEA for all you readers probably wondering. Fictional grief hits me hard in the chest each time I have to go through it, mind me I am an emotional reader with a lot of authors work. My guilty pleasure is reading romance stories, I keep wanting to go and read more but I know it’ll only make me closer to the end so why be like keep binging when I know I don’t want it to be over. I say that about just about every book I’ve read through ashley. I don’t know how I got so lucky to be apart of this journey with her but I am so grateful for the passion she puts down onto paper and turns these storylines into magical stories of love and angst. Ashley is the queen of the angsty romance. My emotional levels for any kind of grief during a story are always high, and I think that’s also another thing that indicates that the story you read is well-written. I feel connected when I jump into a story, I feel like I’m watching the story play out but feel what they feel. I always love that ashley has connections to these stories she writes and shows us she’s a strong person whos been through a lot. There’s people who have impacted me as a person throughout my life and ashley is one of them given how long I’ve known her through the book world. I also love how the chemistry goes beyond the main characters and is given the same amount of love for the side characters. Lennon and Phoenix fit each other, they’re a beautiful melody. They followed their dreams and opened their beautiful story to be perfect. Lennon and Phoenix will live in my heart forever! They were perfect until they weren't but somehow through all the torture and absurd circumstances he lived through, he found his heart in Lennon. I loved the story, the writing, the ups and downs of the story. I loved Phoenix as the MMC and Lennon just fit in somehow coming from a completely different upbringing. The character building was fabulous and the spice was especially good. I can't believe I cried through about the last 2/3 of the book but sooooo worth the read and tissues!!

Loved all the musical aspects in this book. The characters are well thought out and well written. Phoenix and Lennon are amazing. Love all the other characters as well. A lot of heart in this book.

First, I want to start this review by saying that Ashley is by far one of my favorite authors. She is the outcast of the school. I love how strong-willed Ashley build her heroines.And then, there is Phoenix, a bad boy, a rock star with a broken black heart and handsome as hell, just like everyone loves. Especially the one Ashley writes. (Cough* Cough* Covington and Holden Brothers)The first chapters of the book are set in a high school environment. Furthermore, the scenario changed to the band tour, which worked perfectly well for me since I was craving both tropes. Something messy happened, making Lennon and Phoenix split up just to unite them after a fatallyThis couple set me on fire in the most delicious way. The steamy chapters are out of this world. They have such a strong connexion that makes your heart ten times warmer.I love when the book is the whole package for me, screaming, getting angry, sobbing, warming up, falling in love. Their love is about growing up from your mistakes and learning how to better. It's about being there for the person in best and worse. Their love is beautifulIn short, we can see many plots in this book that is difficult to define. So, just go with the ride, and you’ll not regret it.

When I say I couldn't put this book down, I COULDN'T PUT THIS BOOK DOWN! I'd read until my eyes were closing at night, then I'd wake up to try and read before getting kids ready for school. I'd read whilst brushing my teeth, read whilst in traffic. Honestly, I loved it! I laughed, I cried, and I found myself having flutters. It's such a good story with plenty of spice! Deffo recommend! Can't wait to read all of Ashley Jade's books now...

This book had kept me hooked till the end..No typical cliche plots or ending..I LOVED all the characters soo much..❤️❤️❤️It was like I was a part of that band n the team..It was soo beautifully written..Lots of love 🌹❤️❤️
