Good fob
Why did you choose this product over others?: I chose this product for the additional buttons in case they were required to repair my fob. In the end I only needed the rubber buttons which fitted perfectly into the old shell.

Works well but needs reinforcement.
All original key parts fit the new key shell ok as a replacement. What you should know is that the new key as a complete unit often comes apart when twisted in the lock, leaving just the metal key part in the lock which is difficult to twist subsequently on it’s own especially if you’ve got delicate fingers. One solution is to use superglue or even better is an epoxy resin to solidify the new battery so it’s solid as possible. Make sure you use a new max strength battery as when it wears out you’ll need to break the key open to replace the battery again. Should last another year at least this way and it’s a much cheaper option than a new Toyota key! Good luck but it won’t be necessary in my experience.

Very sloppy fit screw too short
I've bought a lot of key fobs over the years but this is the worst. The key sleeve is made too big so the key is sloppy in the fob. The screw in the bag is longer than the original screw but too short to even hold case together. Had to use black electrical tape around key to take up most of slop then use the tape to hold it together securely. I would of sent it Back but I need the key working and you have to destroy the old plastic on old key to get it out of glued sleeve.

Does the job but loose fit
The product is good and does the job but the fit is loose. It doesn't fit tightly to the key so it wiggles around and you can hear the hollow sound from inside

Screw too small (as others have said)
First of all, had to heat and melt away the plastic from the original key blade which took ages. Putting it together was easy, and at first did look like a perfect fit but when you try and screw it back its too small even if its longer but thinner than the original screw so cannot use that either. Using it in the ignition a few times and I expect it will fall apart as there is nothing holding it together. A better design would have been 2 screws holding the blade in place of the body and a third screw for just the cover when you need to change the battery. Having just 1 thin flimsy screw (which don't even fit) is never going to work. I tried super glue on the blade and body part but even that is not holding together due to the type of plastic it's made from. For now, I just have to try and remember to hold the cover very tightly when turning the key to keep it together.
