Great Charger
The charger seems to work exactly as advertised. It maintains battery voltage and desulfates as it charges. The unit performs periodic tests as well, insuring the battery is in good shape.

Perfect battery reminder for a Comanche
This was priced accordingly and works as advertised. Aviation batteries are expensive To replace. I’m glad I bought it.

I should have bought this years ago!
We have used concord batteries in our Airplane for as long as I can remember. We replaced a battery 5 years ago and always tried to fly it regularly. The battery got low during a pitot/static check and I had to jump start the plane. It took a charge again but it was obvious it was showing its age. New battery = $500 and the charger was under $200. I figured it was worth a shot. After letting it do its thing for 24 hours, the battery is in like new condition. I don't remember the last time the starter spun it over this well! I wish I had bought this years ago!!!

High Quality
I have some of the automotive battery minders but this is my first dedicated aviation model. I ordered my last two from Aircraft Spruce so I figured they would be the aviation models. I was wrong they are for standard lead acid batteries and automotive use. This one is much nicer and both of my airplanes use the Concorde sealed batteries so this charger/desulfator will work on each. It was more expensive, generally as aviation products are. The automotive units were less than $100 and this one was about $300.So far it works great. Charged the battery then switched to desulfate maintenance mode. I am thinking about getting another so I can have one on each plane.

Probably will pay for itself over time
I’ve used the smaller Battery Minder maintainer for 15 years with great success and even recovered a couple smaller batteries with it but finally decided to pay the big money for the aviation unit for the battery in a Cessna. It seems to work great and the 8 amp output probably paid for itself the time I left the master on for several days as it kept up with my mostly glass panel and plane started right up. I highly recommend buying the auxiliary kit though it’s frustrating to figure out which one given ambiguous documentation in May 2025 when I bought it.

Aircraft certified Battery MINDER. 128CEC1 12v
I killed off three Walmart chargers befeor buying this expensive little toy.$30 charger, dead, $60 charger dead, $90 charger dead. This is still doing a fine job on 3 1100 CCA deep cycle batteries. They register perfect as if they were just out of the factory door.I’m doing the 3 yr old and 1 yr old motor home batteries continuously . All batteries have the exact same profile now, Top mark on the charger. These batteries are used every day and what miffed the other Wally’s chargers was when a slight load was detected.Well duh, most batteries that require a maintenance charger are connected to a load. This burnt out two chargers and the other would just stop maintaining the set. 14 months perfect score.

Expensive but worth it considering...
A new aviation battery is not cheap and I've replaced a lot of the by using the cheap trickle chargers. I could never really keep the chargers on the plane either. With this one it stays on all the time and keeps the battery charged. Plane starts right up without any damage to the battery. Happy with this but the price is very high. It will pay for itself though in replaced batteries and more importantly missed flights due to dead batteries.
