This reel is great, has a smooth action and I have caught a ton of fish on it since purchasing it, I chose the 3000 reel for my light rig. I loved it so much, that I purchased a second 4000 reel for my a larger rig set up. I highly recommend this reel a great piece of kit for a great price.

Worked for 2 months... The anti reverse is broken. Whether I click the switch or not it still goes in reverse. 30 day exchange is not long enough.

I have had this reel for a few months and wanted to test it out on Salmon fishing. I have caught several fish between 10-15lb. The drag works well, however, the weight of the reel is a little heavy. Overall, for the price, it is a nice reel.

I normally don't write reviews, but I felt I had to on this. I live in Florida and I was a very serious fisherman. I mainly do a lot of Wade fishing with plugs. I stopped fishing 5 years after my wife passed away. But I decided to start fishing again and I was looking for a good reel for my G-Loomis rod. After looking at the reviews for this reel, and watching a video I figured for the money I would try it. I bought the 5000 and went out fishing. I was blown away by how smooth the reel casted. I use a 15 lp braided line and I couldn't believe the distance I was getting.Then the action kicked in, I caught 15 fish that day and some of them gave me a good fight and I had the opportunity to test the drag. I couldn't believe the ease that I had with the drag and how smooth and accurate it was. I was able to land all the fish. When I got home I loved the reel so much that I bought the 3000 for my other G-Loomis rod. I have been fishing every weekend since and for me I will not buy any other reel.Buy the way, I bought the OD Green and they look freaking awesome. I highly recommend this product.

Not bad for the price. No issues yet but got it to replace kids reels that wasn't strong enough to pull the type of fish we were pulling in. Now they are not having any issues pulling in reds and jacks.
