Quick easy install. Other reviews mention hood shifting during install but I used a couple small rubber tip squeeze clamps to hold it in place easy peasy. Bolts up quick and simple and works like a charm. Seems like something that should have came stock with truck

2008 Nissan frontier. It was a super easy install! Perfect fit, and an awesome upgrade!

Simple and easy only thing to remember is be mindful of hood spacing . Total install 10 minutes and most of that time was finding my socket set. With the cost of vehicles I cannot understand why something this inexpensive is not part of the base package. The hood rod that comes standard is terrible and holds the hood to low to comfortably work under the hood.

One strut is just strong enough to hold the hood up, but two is perfect. No instructions, so here are a few points to consider. I noticed one bad review had the lower brackets swapped and wouldn't fit. The "pin" should be toward the front on the lower brackets. Upper brackets the pin in up. After install, remove the prop arm and the retaining clip before closing.

Holds the hood open easy, nice parts, good purchase for the money. I bought a second set for my work truck. Take your time and use a support stick to install. It could use better instructions for installation.

Easy to install and worked great for about a year. After that, they no longer hold up the hood. Making things worse is that removing the prop rod is part of the install procedure. I'm having to use a stick now.

If you're a mechanic like me it also keeps the hood up way higher and there's no more metal bar in your way. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Works great for a Nissan Frontier, I just bought a second set for a friend's Nissan. Unfortunately the second set was supposed to be delivered a week ago, which is not the sellers fault. Looks like my order is sitting at an Amazon warehouse lost, seems like this is becoming a more common occurrence lately.
