Sorry, no one rates a 5 just out of the box.And most certainly I’ll come back later after a full trial of all the tips provided .To initially test, I used the turbo tip to wash off our back deck preparing for summer. Did a great job and didn’t seem to tear up any of the painted surfaces.This unit wheels around fairly easily and has a very stout inlet for the water connection.Supply hose of sufficient length. But lacks pliability.Sufficient length on electrical cord with GFI.This seems like a good product and a good price.Next test, street gutters and driveway washing- hours of on time.

At first, I was not sure what to order and the B&S did not have lots of reviews compare to Sun Joes. B&S has a good name behind for many years now, so I went with one. Shipping was fast, no damage at all. It was packed well. Insatll is easy. It takes few mins to read the instructions which are clear to understand. If you need a washer to clean a fence, concrete, outdoor furniture or a car, this is the one and it is for me. This is NOT for commercial application.....period. It's a basic washer that does the job. Base on some negetive reviews here, I can tell that most do not read the instruction for operation and storage. Very important: you must grease all o-rings and line connectors with light grease. It will prevent leaks for sure!!! and use good quality water hose to connect to the washer. Second, if you are not using it all the time, please apply pump saver oil per instruction. Its only $7.00 a can. You will thank yourself later on. Third, do not let the GFI get wet. Also, inject the pump saver outdoor cause the oil will shoot out far through the high pressure output pipe and can make a mass. Last, in cold winter months. keep the washer away from freezing !!!!!! Overall, good machine for me.

I’ve had several opportunities to use this pressure washer and I must say, I’m fully satisfied. Like many others, I’m a bit amused at the branding of the product given that Briggs is the producer of small engines but in the end, who cares? It’s a light weight machine but not to such a degree that it feels cheap. It’s actually quite solid and seemingly well built.The “turbo” tip is great for concrete. In the attached photos you can see the before and after pic of the north side of our home, both siding as well as the sidewalk leading from the garage service door to the driveway. The discoloration on the concrete is original and not due to the pressure washer. The turbo tip effortlessly removed 20 years of dirt and grime build up. The green tip is what I used for the siding. It was very effective on both the vinyl, rain gutters and the concrete foundation. I didn’t wash the very bottom of the foundation as the splash effect was too violet. I’m learning as I go. Should have washed the foundation first, prior to the water build up. I later returned and cleaned up the bottom edge.I’ve also used the soaping tip. Used it for applying soap to our dog beds. I let the soap soak in then washed it with a pressure tip. The results were quite impressive. I did this as more of an experiment in curiosity as both beds were due to be replaced. I just wish I’d have taken before and after pics. They both look like new after drying them over a chair in the hot sun. Another option (if you lack hot sun) would be a day of dripping over a patio chair followed by an hour or so in the dryer. Again, this saved us from having to buy two new dog beds.I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase. In closing I think it’s important to note that I followed the operator’s manual instructions TO THE LETTER. I had no leaks whatsoever. The application of a very small amount of lubricant (using a cotton swab) is critically important to ensuring a tight seal. I do so each time I use this machine and suspect that those who had leakage issues, likely didn’t follow this most important step. Also, be certain there is no air in the hose as the pump on the machine will not supply full pressure. So: Be certain to bleed off any air in the water supply before you power up the washer and don’t forget to lubricate. Note: Lubricant/grease is not included. Please don’t skip this step.I enjoy using this washer and give it two big thumbs up!

Easy to assemble very durable wish I had one exactly like this that ran by gas

Washer was almost completely assembled. Wand, hose and spray tips needed to be installed and that was it. Super easy. Washer performed very well. I used it to clean approx 60 feet of concrete walkway, 100 feet of 3 board fence and tubular metal gates. It did all of this with no issues at all. The pressure was consistent, the tips, wide spray, narrow spray and the direct single stream, all worked very well. The soap dispenser requires you to use a no pressure spray nozzle (black and included) . It is like spraying straight from the hose. The soap to water mix was perfect. You can see the soap as you spray it so you know it is dispensing. I used regular dish soap with about a 5 to 1 mix. That little bit of soap went a long way. Its easy to see what is left in the tank also. Tips are SUPER easy to change. I constantly changed tip because of the type of cleaning I was doing. s. I used every tip received and they all worked well. ONLY con--spray tips store on the nozzle wand. One this is not a good place for storage as you constantly setting the wand down or moving unit. They fit snugly in their holder but leaves me with now faith they will stay there, especially the direct spray tip. It is about 3 inches long and constantly fell out of its holder. I used a small medicine bottle and taped it to the handle-works great--There is a handle style holder for the hose and cord. While its nice to have a hose reel and cable storage the lack of these allows you to store the unit very compactly. I rather have the minimal storage than a unit bigger because of a reel and cabinet. Even with these issue I'm glad I purchased this washer.

I really like this electric pressure washer because I (woman) can use it. No yanking on a pully start like that whopping big pressure washer my husband has. The only thing I dislike about it is clip for attaching the wand to the machine when it's not in use. It doesn't have a strong grip and quiet often lets go of the wand which can be annoying when wheeling the unit about. Otherwise I'm happy with this Pressure Washer. One note, my husband assembled the unit and ended up greasing it in places that he said the manufacturer should have greased before selling.
