RIIEYOCA DB15 Male to Female Serial Cable, Male to Female 15 Pin Gold Plated Connecter Straight Through Cord, for Data Communication 0.5M（Black）

Needed this for a piece of equipment I was working on and it worked great. Feels like a solid build, not cheaply built.

I got a Fiber Laser engraver and added a vision system to it. The setup must route data from the Ezcad board to the laser module via a vision card. The cable provided by the vision board was enough to complete the setup but I need a couple of additional cables to bypass the vision board. Hence I got one of these. I specifically needed one short one so that it only runs on top and does not take much space inside the case. The cable is strong but still soft in texture. It is thought hence I assume the wires inside are of good quality. It works very well and I do not see any lag in data transfer when ezcad is sending to the module. It may be used with several other applications too and will work very well.

This is a no frills serial cable, it works as expected. In a pinch, I've found that it can be used as a video cable for a classic Macintosh that has DB15 video output, but it'll introduce artifacts to the display since it's not shielded for video.

I'm using it for vintage PC gameports, and it works flawlessly with a PCB breakout board I'm designing that links the various pins of this cable to joystick 1, joystick 2, midi in and midi out that the gameport supports.

Surprisingly it works with the the flow controller Hasting 202. Too bad it was my mistake and took this short cable version. However, cable is quite softer than what I used.
