This tasty treat for hermit crabs is our propietary blend of crushed cattle bones, dried cattle blood, dried and crushed chicken feathers, and worm castings. Bone Meal: Our bone meal originates from organic, free ranged cattle that were not treated with hormones or medications. The bones are then steamed, mechanically crushed, and then milled into fines. This is an excellent source of protein and calcium. Blood Meal: Our blood meal originates from organic, free range cattle. It is then sun dried without any chemical pre-treatments. This is an excellent source of protein. Feather Meal: Our feather meal originates from certified organic, free range chickens. The feathers are processed by pressure cooking, drying, and milling into fines. This has the highest animal protein available, coming in at 85%. Worm Castings: Similar to various guanos, worm castings offer nutrients in a more readily available form for nutrient uptake by hermit crabs. Hermit crabs love it! Serving size for all products is 1/4 tsp per three crabs--although, if you are offering multiple foods at once, you can likely use less. **Please note, all of these items are potential allergens.
