For the price 5 stars. The usability is good. The blades are sharp and it's easy to clean if you rinse it immediately and put it in the dishwasher.Connections are firm which is nice and easy to tell when its clicked into place.The suction works alright, just a little awkward trying to use it on the counter and I don't have a flat counter so I press it to my stomach to stabilize it. Not ideal but it works for me.I just like the wheel and the not grating with a basic hand tool.

There wasn't much in the description or reviews about using this to grate/shred cheese, but I bought it hoping it would work well for cheese. I don't like to buy bagged shredded cheese. I like to make it myself fresh when I need it. Well, this product did not disappoint me! I first used the slicer attachment for a cucumber. It sliced it very well, and unbelievably quickly! I do wish there was another attachment that made thicker slices that could be used for dipping the sliced veggies in hummus or other dip. But the thin slices it made would be good for salad. Then I got a block of Swiss cheese and with the large shredding attachment made very quick work of shredding the entire block of cheese in seconds! It's almost unreal how fast it is, especially after being used to doing it by hand with a stand grater, and having to be super careful with that kind so as to not cut your fingers. With this product, though, you simply start pushing the block of cheese down with your hand, then when the top of the cheese gets just below the top of the opening, you push it the rest of the way with the plastic pusher provided. Your fingers never get near the spinning blade. As others have said, because of the angle, the cheese does seem to collect in the shredder a bit, so you may have to stop half way and pull out the cheese, but mostly it does fall into whatever container you put under it, Also, I had no problems with the suction that holds it still on the counter top while in use. The dial is very easy to turn to lock/unlock it in place. I also found all the parts very easy to clean by hand. The directions that come with it make no mention of how to wash the parts. But the description on the product listing says the slicers can be put in the top rack of a dishwasher and the other parts should be washed by hand. I'm very happy with this purchase and look forward to using it often!

This is a nice little addition to your kitchen supplies. Smaller than expected, but it does the job. I use it primarily for veggie grating - carrots, beets, zucchini, etc. I would not try to grind very tough/hard food items here. It's not a heavy-duty grater. Small, compact, and very easy to clean. Will have to see how it holds up over time with daily use.

I bought this on a whim but I use it every day. It is so easy to use and easy to clean. Great quality too. I love that it suctions to the counter so it doesn’t move. Great tool!

I've been hand grating cheese the old way. This kitchen tool is essential and such a time saver. It is very easy to use and clean. It perfectly grates cheese in seconds. I also tried the slicing insert and found that effective as well. I use this all the time now. Oh the red color is very pretty.
