Graco247340 1/4-Inch Airless Hose, 50-Foot, Feet

I bought this to connect two hoses for my paint sprayer so I could have an extended reach. It's nice being able to have that extra length so I don't have to constantly move the paint sprayer. Just remember before you use your paint sprayer to tighten up all your fittings. I lost about a quart of paint because I didn't check my equipment and the hose loosened up on the fitting.

I ordered a 50 foot hose for painting our house. This was to be the first time using an airless paint sprayer and I needed a longer hose than the 25’ that came with the sprayer unit. This one worked just fine for me. I read many reviews of many different hoses and one thing that was mention repeatedly was how the hoses would not straighten out and would stay coiled creating all kinds of troubles. I received the hose 2 days before I was going to paint and took it out to the back yard thinking I would work on getting some of that coil out of it. I clipped off the ties and pulled up on one end of it to see the “slinky effect” of the coil. I guess that was what so many people were talking about. I then picked up the whole hose and placing one end on the ground I walked backwards as I unrolled the hose. It laid flat and straight for the whole 50’… These hi pressure hoses are very stiff to hold the use pressures and if you don’t unroll it and just pull the hose end each loop creates a twist. You then need to untwist it or it will try to stay in a coil or kink. The easy way for me was just to walk backwards and unroll it which took about 2 minutes.I added a photo to show how straight it can lay but our grass was a little long so not sure if you can make out much...

My heavy duty hose

The 25 feet that came with my sprayer just isn't enough. This 25 foot hose will make life easier. Graco quality is the only brand I will buy. Don't waste your time and money on no-name knockoff brands.

This hose replaced our old spray hose from years gone by and have been very impressed thus far. The hose is far more pliable then the old hose, more akin to a very thick garden hose. We noted there were reviews that say it is not pliable, this appears to be a use and age related issue. The hose comes tightly coiled for shipping and wants to stay in this form until warmed and/or well used, but is far more flexible then our old hose. It coils easily for storage. The product is quite durable. Thus far we have been very impressed by this hose.

Works great and results in a lot less sprayer moving trips as well as reaches nicely on the roof so...good product. Worth it if you have a bigger project.

This allows you to connect two hoses so you can keep spraying 50 feet from your paint setup. Overall a real time saver. You can generally get one whole side of a house from a single paint setup.
