These seeds come clean and packaged very well. In fact I found a 10 lb bag I had ordered and forgotten about in the original package in my pantry. It was over 2 years old so I expected the seed to be rancid. I opened the bag and they seemed fine. To test it, I germinated some of the seed and got over 80% of the seeds to germinate.After being in the vacuum pack provided by the seller for over 2 years, the seed were still viable!

I have bought a lot of flaxseed in my life. This product is not the best; it is a little drier than the best and hence, not as much oil, but good value these days. The product I used before was also a better price but no longer available.

I bought this a month ago. Use it to make my flax seed bread every week. Real good quality and fresh; arrived soon.Upon receipt, I stored them in gallon size freezer bags and kept all but one in the freezer - stays really fresh there for a very long time ( in fact I store ALL my nuts there). The one that im currently using us also in a gallon bag but stored in the fridge for ease of use.Highly recommended

I did not get the flax seed I ordered. Instead they shipped me six 18-ounce jars of truffle/parmesan/garlic powdery cooking stuff - and it's NONRETURNABLE! Yikes. Now I don't have the flax seed I need and I'm stuck with the mis-shipment. Won't be buying from D'Allesandro again.
