Comfortable, smooth optical transitions between near and far.
Great glasses. I have my first pair for 2 years and still wearing them. Decided to get another pair just in case.... They have been so comfortable, I wear them all day and sometimes into the shower! Well made, love the dark blue frames and after 2 years of daily wear lenses are still clear, no scratches. The coating really help prevent me from squinting in the sun. I rarely put on sun glasses. I highly recommend these glasses.

Searched high and low for these...
I have several pairs of sightlines... they are the 'only' glasses I can wear to read a menu and talk to the person in front of me at dinner - and I have searched everywhere for quality multi-focal readers. I can see my keyboard easily and glance at the computer screen with complete clarity. Even friends have ordered online while sitting at the dinner table after trying mine on. The only thing I wish the company would include is a thin area at the top of the lens with no magnification - then I would never have to look over the rim. Overall, they are well made and their customer service is superb.

Decent but not great
I bought these for computer use and they are the 250's with variable zones and glare coating. The glasses are as advertised and the lenses are good. The reason I'm only giving it three stars is because of the frames. While it has spring hinges the plastic frames just barely fit my slightly large head (7 3/8)and the quality is similar to cheap readers that break over time. If you buy them be very careful while handling them and cleaning the lenses or they will break like the similar cheap readers.

Great Lens, Frame sucks
These were amazing. LOVED the lenses but after a few weeks the frame broke at the hinge. Wish they would put these lenses in a more durable frame.

I can see clearly now...
From a style standpoint, it looks like a wayfarer frame in the image, but the frame has a little less breadth. With a progressive lens I find it is better to have more vertical viewing range so there is more surface for the transitions. If the lens is super skinny, then each focal range is thin. I think this would be a better progressive if they used the true wayfarer styling. Also the glasses are plenty wide. If you have a skinny face, these may not be for you. I would say my face is more average width and the glasses are just a bit wide. This presents with a small cosmetic issue, but the frames still fit well. These two issues aside, the lenses are clear, the transitions smooth and if, like me, you need a fairly steep transition (1.5 to 3.25 as tested), the 1.5 to 3.0 they offer is a pretty close fit. Go to your optometrist before hand to see what your correction is and look to see if SightLine has a over-the-counter solution.

Great for Reading and Computer Work!
I had a hard time working on a computer and being able to read documents at the same time without constantly putting on and taking off my standard 1.5x readers, the Multi-Focal Readers are the PERFECT solution!!! I can now see both the screen through the middle magnification area and look down to read through the bottom of the lenses. - I wish I would have found these sooner. These are Excellent quality and good looking glasses as well!

Disappointed
The quality isn't worth the price. Cheaply made. Inadequate line of vision. In comparison to my other progressive/multifocus eye glasses, there are many choices providing better quality at a lower cost.

Critical missing info (small frame); nice progressive READERS, not general progressives
These were my first readers I have ever purchased. I quite like how these glasses function as readers, but this particular product's info is missing the fact that the frames are small vs medium. As a result they were a big too snug on my average sized head. I eventually figured this out by looking at their website vs Amazon info, after being conflicted about their snug fitment and noisiness for a few months. This missing information exaggerates the issue that the (nice quality feeling) frame flexes and makes squeaking / groaning sounds when moved in any way, which feels cheap despite all the other positives about these readers. They work VASTLY better than my prescription progressive glasses (an OEM Vasuma product) for reading or computer work, but are not sharp for computer use in my case unless I sit abnormally close to the screen. I have very mild prescriptions, so it's possible most of these generic progressive products are assuming more significant vision loss to correct for.As a side note, these are progressive READERS, not progressive GENERAL GLASSES. This means you do not get the nasty distortion effects of prescription progressives, but they also still have reading correction active at the top of the lens. Thus they will still modify longer distance vision, so they are not a "cheap way out" vs getting prescription progressives for driving etc. After my longer experience figuring out if these glasses worked for me, I got some surprisingly good service from Sightline in the end--which was months after purchase. Once I realized the glasses were actually the wrong size for me and the info was actually missing from the product info, after a couple rounds of messaging to ensure I understood the product capabilities they refunded my original purchase.I'm still disappointed they make so much noise compared to my prescription progressives (which are made of the same type of materials but make no such noises when flexed), but I'm tempted to order a properly sized pair again and give them another shot. Their rep suggested metal frames would be needed to eliminate the noise, but I know from my prescription glasses that this is not necessarily true. These are expensive readers, and were actually not that much cheaper than my prescription glasses due to a qty deal on those. So at this price level, I assume their refinement should be competitive with my "value class" prescription glasses.Thank you for the patience Sightline, and for a pretty well engineered product. This time I will have had more experience with glasses, and should be able to make a much more decisive choice as to whether they work properly for me or not :)

Excellent glasses
Very happy with these glasses. Very well made. No weird glare like lots of other glasses I've bought in the past.

Mine were giving me a slightly distorted fish-eye-like picture
Loved the glassed at first, but then noticed that they were giving me a slightly distorted fish-eye-like picture. Still use them for short-time tasks.

I can see
These glasses are exactly as described. I was purchasing a "name brand" for quite some time but soon they weren't lasting very long, due to the frames breaking. One pair lasted only about 2 months. I've now been wearing the Sightline Multifocus for roughly 4 months and they're going strong. I'm also finding they seem to be staying scratch-free a bit better. They work perfectly looking down at your cell and also having a conversation with someone standing in their/my safe zone. They feel sturdy yet surprisingly lightweight when sitting on bridge of nose. I would give 5 star but I find the arm a bit short. When I tip head back while wearing on top of head, the glasses end up on floor (but don't break). Just to add, my normal vision is, my arms are no longer long enough. Can't see up close but can read a sign at quite a distance. This is my second time purchasing and I will continue.
