This kept my cast completely dry! It was very hard to get on at first, required 2 people. But it got easier after a couple of weeks. Definitely recommend if you have a cast.

This works very well. The arm dam is tight around my arm, but it is waterproof - Many showers, no wet bandages.

This was used to shower while wearing a hand brace that extended to about the middle of my forearm. The four stars is because it worked well and kept any water out while showering but was not perfect. The interior is large, which should allow for about any brace to fit. It is long enough to cover most of the forearm. However, it is a plastic film and very slippery thus making it hard to hold items such as a shower head or soap. In addition to slippery, it is shaped like an oversized mitten that makes it difficult to grasp objects (washcloth, soap, shower head). There is an edge from the molding process that is sharp making it uncomfortable if rubbed while washing. Note: As warned by the manufacturer, it may not be effective if submerged or if the opening is subjected to direct shower spray.

Yes, this item is just so awesome and it works outstanding. I wish I had come up with this device. It covers my left hand throughly and keeps it dry while I shower. It’s the best item iv ever used for myself and I’m glad I discovered it on Amazon.

I got this for my daughter to use after tendon surgery. She is very pleased with it. She said she was surprised how comfortable it was and that is was not too difficult to apply. She was able to shower as usual and area was kept nice and dry.

This works well and did the job of keeping my cast dry. However, it was large enough to fit the Hulk, so rather cumbersome for me. Even though it was large, the top part that seals off was rather tight--left red marks on my arm and was uncomfortable. Guess that has to be that way to seal off water. Anyway, I tried just putting a small slit to make it a little less tight, and that was a mistake as the silicon just split all the way. So, I still used it but needed to put a heavy duty rubber band at the top since I ruined the seal. Bottom line--it does the job but not very comfortable.
