Great alternative

Perfect sita alternative for someone allergic to soya. I like the flavour, really the closest one to soya sauce.

This is a lot like soy sauce - it has that moreish umami flavour and a bit of a tang. It is quite sweet though - so not good for sushi, or if you want some in a broth, or a simple savoury tasting stir-fry. I would like it to have a little more salt and less sugar, so it is more like light soy sauce and maybe more versatile.

Great taste

I was interested to try NOYA Sauce, as I liked the idea of a fermented seaweed alternative to soy sauce (with a Great Taste’ star rating). Sadly, I find it overwhelmingly smells and tastes of yeast extract. Perhaps this is a batch issue but you may as well just stir in a blob of marmite to your cooking. Sorry, I am not overly impressed.

Looks like soy sauce, smells like soy sauce and most importantly tastes like soy sauce! For anyone with a soya allergy this is the ideal replacement we have been looking for!

Incredible. Every time I eat soy I get digestive troubles but most of the foods I love contain soy. This sauce has been absolutely life changing, I now make my own stir fry sauces, pour it over sushi etc. I look forward to trying other sauces from this company.

A genuine guy developed this small brand and range and he actually has a palate and makes lovely food ethically, unlike the likes of so-called supermarket vegan suppliers like Deliciously Ella (Sainsbury family).
