Legendary Pastries are my new fav healthier snack!
Closest thing to a healthier pop tart I’ve ever found. I discovered Legendary Pastries at a 7/11 and gave one a try. I was really impressed and so ordered more on Amazon. The best flavors I’ve tried so far are the chocolate and blueberry pastries, and the cinnamon roll is shockingly good. The brown sugar cinnamon pastries aren’t as good of a flavor as the ones I previously mentioned, but it’s not bad either. These are super satisfying with the high protein and high fiber, perfect for people like me who stay hungry all day. Do they taste like real pop tarts? Not quite. But then again, real pop tarts aren’t loaded with protein, don’t keep you feeling full for long, and are full of sugar. These are way better than other brands of protein bars I’ve tried such as Quest. The chocolate ones are actually like a nice treat to have, almost like a dessert. The price is high but think about what all you get in one pastry- lots of protein and helps you to feel full so you don’t eat a bunch of other junk instead. If you want a decadent sugary dessert, this product probably isn’t for you. If you want high protein, high fiber, help with feeling more full, and are open minded to a healthier option, this is totally for you.

Good with caveats
5/24/25 Update -> Now 5 StarsAfter sharing my thoughts on quality of the product, I was very pleasantly surprised to have been contacted by Legendary Foods. In an effort to ensure customer loyalty, they wanted to know more about what I'd received, how many times the product has been like this, and offered the explanation (and apology) that the they were in process of changing production facilities. We shared a number of communications and they really took my feedback seriously and worked to make things right. As a result of sincerely excellent customer care, I will continue to purchase the cinnamon rolls as they feel much more equal to the value I'd expect at the price point. I've tired the Berry and traditional cinnamon rolls and found them all to be pretty good; the berry flavor is subtle, but the traditional cinnamon rolls are on the money. It's rare I think to find a company that really reaches out to customers who aren't absolutely satisfied. This meant a lot to me and because of that, I will likely continue to be a customer as long as the product quality = a fair value in presentation and flavor :) Thank you Legendary Foods!Quick and TLDR Summary:- They arrive in a box, individually wrapped, often crushed by Amazon poor packaging. Packaging - 2/10- I have tried almost all of the flavors. Taste 9.5/10- They look barely like the image though, sadly most flavors look like the picture I've attached. Appearance 1/10- At 24.99 these are over $3 each. With the damaged boxes from shipping and the product mismatch for expectation vs reality....Price 4/10Pros: Tastes good, nutrition is solidCons: Delivery, appearance, and price are poor or too high

Way to expensive to be this gross
These are disgusting. I don't know what is worse, the weird strong medicinal taste or the dry and crumbly yet somehow also moist texture. They smell like chemicals. I'm not someone who has to have everything fresh and organic. I'm not talking about preservatives. The smell reminds me of walking into an art studio with the smell of paints/brush cleaners etc. There is almost no filling in these. There is nothing remotely close to the what is shown in the photo. I don't really care about the sprinkles, but they show them covered in sprinkles in the photo and mine has just a few sad lonely little sprinkles. and i checked the wrapper to see if maybe they came loose in transit. empty. But maybe there was a sprinkle shortage or something. I didn't lose hope.I told myself some things smell terrible but taste good... like boiled eggs. Sure they smell like farts, but they taste delicious. So I took my first bite. Out of the corner like the pros on the package did. It was awful. really really awful. Have you ever taken a scoop of whey protein powder and ground up some advil in it and then just poured it all in your mouth dry? I imagine it tastes like one of these.I'm an eternal optimist though. When I see the pile of poo... I look for the pony. So I told myself.. Okay... just get to the filling and it will get better. WHAT FILLING?? There is this tiny thin line of filling that is barely present. I decided to dissect the thing so i could scrape out some filing and taste that and see how it was. It was a weird combo of slimy and gritty.I did something I don't usually do. I just trusted the 4 star ranking of this product and purchased it without reading some of the best and worst reviews (what I usually do). The reason for that is I'd purchased Legendary toaster pastries in the past. They were Strawberry and had a texture very similar to actual pop tarts and they tasted pretty good. They were pricey too (like these) but were great for an occasional treat or just something different. The pastry itself was less cakey (in a good way). The new version of this is really cakey but not in a good way at all.I'm super bummed to see a company that had a great product ditch it in favor of this. I'm hopeful that maybe I got a bad/contaminated batch or something. As another reviewer said, I don't even feel comfortable giving these away because they are that gross.
