This CarPlay adapter has a great build quality and works good as long as your car is compatible. This CarPlay Adapter is "Plug and Play" and a game-changer for how my device interfaces with my vehicle! It took about 2 minutes to set up and I have been extremely pleased with the performance. Worth ur money. Good functionality. Maps.. sound quality.. reading messages. I didn't run any updates since it was working as it should. The lag is barely noticeable when operating, you wouldn't know that it was wireless. It loads up quickly when I get in the car, probably just as much time as it would take to get plugged in.

Originally purchased and the unit worked well for about 10 months. Would not connect to the iPhone. I attempted to get some customer service and they appear to be nonexistent. I caution spending money on this product with such a short live.

I have been looking for a wireless CarPlay device. This device is better than I expected. This one is the only one that pairs without any issues. I tried a couple different brands and no luck.I found this cool gadget, set up was fairly straightforward and the connection takes about 10 seconds from turning on my car which is a huge plus. It works perfectly. Be sure to follow the instructions to perform the software update. Setup was easy and only took 5 minutes. It has amazing sound quality and is very simple to use. Great valueIt’s a great product, I’ve had it for a months now and I’ve had zero issues with it. Highly recommend!

I found this very easy to set up and had no issues. I'm pleased with it overall, but there are a few things that are preventing me from giving it 5 stars:-Slight delays: There's about a 10-20 second delay for it to connect to my phone each time I get in my car. Then, there's about a 3 second delay from when I hit a button on my car's steering wheel or screen to the action actually happening (for example, skipping a song). If you often find yourself sitting in your car as you wait for something, and you like to scroll TikTok, watch videos, etc., this is where it can be really annoying—the sound will always be a few seconds behind the action in the video.-Sound issues: Every once in a while, the sound will randomly cut out for a second or two. It's very brief, though, and it doesn't happen frequently.

Installation was OK if not intuitive. The start-up delay is noticeable but does not bother me. And the unit worked well, at least for the first month or 6 weeks. Now it intermittently drops out, but does not re-link automatically. When this happens, the black "Carplay" screen you normally see when it it first turned-on, gets displayed, like it's trying to delink. But the unit doesn't "re-link". Relinking requires either unplugging the unit from the USB power, then plugging it back in. Or shutting off the truck and restarting it. Nothing has changed since installation. The unit sits about 6" above the phone in a small cubby in the center console of my '22 Honda Ridgeline. The phone (iPhone 13 MAX PRO), always sits in the same spot, on the mag charger built into the middle of the center console.

UDATE SINCE ORIGINAL REVIEW:Customer support reached out on steps to resolve my sound quality issue (steps were simple but felt like it was turning into more of a headache than anything) and it has been resolved! I do feel like now it takes a tad bit longer to connect than previously (probably quicker to just plug into usb) but it works exactly as described and no longer have to worry about a cord!Super simple to setup, only took about 30 seconds! Surprisingly small too! Only hang up is that I have a fairly nice stock audio system with 19 speakers and you can tell a significant drop in audio quality and loudness. Normally @ vol 16 with the USB cord my speakers are bangin’ but when using this adapter, @ vol 30 it doesn’t even come close to the same quality. Also, I just purchased a new vehicle hotpot plan and wasn’t aware you can’t turn your phones WIFI on while using the adapter. So make sure your songs are downloaded to your phone if you don’t want to use cellular to stream your music

Let me open with this:2017 Silverado 2500HD high countryInitial setup was a breeze. I had to update it which wasn’t any big ordeal. Day 1 it worked nicely. Connected right up and worked well. Day 2-7 it would randomly disconnect, light is on plugged in, didn’t move at all. Would just randomly disconnect and not come back. I tried unplugging and replugging but once it gave up it just gave up. It would randomly come back for a minute here or there.I returned it. Just doesn’t work with my truck I guess.

I am returning this after 2 months of off-and-on connectivity. It’s terrible. The cord doesn’t fit properly, and my 2022 Kia keeps dropping the CarPlay connectivity. WHEN it worked, it was great. But it would work fine for 4 car trips, and then not for the next one. Unplugging and reconnecting did not solve the problem. Very, very frustrating. Luckily Amazon is honoring a return. I should have listened to the other reviewers who said it was not reliable. Yes, I went for a cheaper price. But you get what you pay for. I’m ready to trade in my Kia for a newer model, which hopefully comes with wireless connectivity so I don’t have to waste money on these cheap devices. Beware. Don’t buy this product.
