NOT white!
I ordered both the gold and the pearl. The GOLD is a true gold, true to the photo. Some reviews implied a greenish tone, which mine did not have. The photo makes it look like both sides of the duvet are velvet, but the underside is a stiff (not super soft) poly? cotton-type material similar in color to the velvet topside. Not sure about the other sizes but both the king and queen size duvet are not made of one solid piece, there are two stitching lines about 2 feet in from the sides. The PEARL is NOT white, it is grey. It is a grey tone that looks nothing like the iridescenty white in the photo. The seller is not super responsive to questions. Mine have been pending for months. Aside from the color disappointment on the pearl duvet (returning), these are beautifyl incredibly high end looking duvets with a nice weight. Definitely comparable to the West Elm ones.

Nice but shiny~
This is a very cool duvet cover. It's somewhat soft, and with the cotton back, it lays very well on the bed without trying to fall off during the night. It IS HOWEVER very shiny. Not totally metallic, but it's got a look of almost... parachute pants? You'll have to get some really silky curtains if you're trying to match it. The actual color is true to the pictures. (I got grey.. the lighter grey). At first I was like uhhhh.. but after a few days it really grew on me. It's interesting to say the least. If you want a cool duvet you can maybe match some metallic shades with, this is it. If you want a matte, soft, microfibery duvet, this is not it. I think it's pretty cool in it's own right.

Beautiful
Love the velvety feel, made a mistake with the color it's definitely silver with a finch hue of blue. Still beautiful. The reason for the 4 stars is because I did not like the two stitching lines going down close to the sides of the duvet. It definitely takes away from the elegance of this beautiful duvet. Still for the price it was great!

Eh - it’s OK
I was looking for a cheaper version of the West Elm velvet duvet cover and this is an OK cheaper version. The material feels nice (I definitely washed it before use) but the color is way off - I ordered the pearl hoping for a cream/ivory (no white option) and it’s definitelu gold. I’d hate to see how yellow the gold one is - however for $150 cheaper than WE it’s an ok trendy duvet to buy/use

Pretty pink, but only on one side
Pretty light pink with a very shiny sheen. Nap feels soft in two directions only. The under side is a darker pink fabric that is not particularly soft.It looks very well made.I'll be returning it because I wanted something softer and not so shiny.It may be just perfect for some people's taste though.

It looks very expensive!
I wanted the look of an expensive duvet cover but I didn't want to spend the money. This was a perfect beautiful alternative. It looks very expensive! The backside is very comfortable to sleep on and I would not like the velvet on both sides

Stronger color than pictured
The pink looks very soft in the picture (millennium pink, blush, pale dogwood??) and in reality it's quite strong, more "bubblegum". The back is even brighter and darker. The fabric is soft though if you don't mind a strong pink color.

Quality good value
Pleasantly surprised, I've enjoyed this Velvet Duvet cover, its very nice, fits perfectly on my king size bed.
