12 1/2" x 24 1/2" Galvanized Washboard
I don't know how long it took to get to my house because I was out of town during the shipping dates. However, it came, and it came in one whole piece. Brand new (bought it new). It works great; I actually don't have to work that hard - or as hard as I thought it would be - to get my delicates washed. I'm accustomed to cement washboards that are used in Baja, Mexico, and those had a small tendency to somehow get the clothes kinda stuck on the washboard rounds. The galvanized ones don't do that. It just smoothly and efficiently goes up and down to your command movement. Perfect height - just goes right above the knee; so if you do it outside you can lean it on your leg, and it doesn't hurt at all. It works fine in my tub (small apartment = no choice anyway). I also recommend that after each time you use it, set it outside to dry. It'll prevent the wood from slowly building up that mold you'll sometimes find on wooden cutting boards when they're not being dried properly. Then store it in a dry location.

For the price, you get what you pay for.
Well, it's a wash board. Inexpensive. Wood was rough in several places with large (one to two inch) splintering in about half a dozen spots. Couple of other wood sections were rough and splintery. I wouldn't want to use it to wash clothes until I give it a very thorough sanding (otherwise I'll be picking splinters out of my knuckles for a long time). The metal section appears sturdy but I haven't used it yet (waiting on the sanding).Again, it's an inexpensive wash board. You get what you pay for. Despite the rough wood, I still think it was worth the price.

Saves money!
I still have to visit the laundromat for bigger stuff (like sheets and towels), but this product saves me a bit of money every week on smaller laundry expenses. It's also great for people who are sensitive to laundry soap; in doing the wash by hand, you can make sure most of the soap is actually rinsed out of your clothes (something I find that machines are less than great at doing).

GREAT PRODUCT...Gets the Cleaning REAL Old Timey Clean...You can't get this clean from dishwashers. Perfect for sunny climes.
Works perfectly for what it's designed for, but make sure you have an ergonomically supportive sink size and height with plenty of water to use it...I'm using it for laundry. I live in DRY California and drying clothes outdoors is AMAZING fun. I love how super clean hand washed clothes are...I forgot how much work; but it's worth it if the sink is high enough to protect your back, hips...Don't do this on your knees.

It is a nice decorative item for the laundry room
It is a nice decorative item for the laundry room. The only thing missing was a hanging bracket on the back of it. We had to put one on ourselves. Overall was nice.

Galvanized washboard
Do not waste your money if you plan on using this board for hand washables. The wood frame is very poorly made. Thankfully, I have a husband who took on the challenge to sand down all of the sharp edges. Even when we thought the wood was smooth, when the board got wet, the wood swelled and clothing still got caught on rough spots. The metal section is a wave pattern without the familiar ribbing used in other washboards. Gave this board away to a crafter and ordered a "real" washboard from Lehmann's in Ohio. They have a website.

It's a Washboard
This is manufactured for use, not just something to use as a novelty. I have not used it yet, got it for "in case", but it is very much like the one Grandma used. It should do it's duty and hold up well from it's construction.
