not this Mackie
i was extremely disappointed with the flavor, they tasted stale, also when I ordered, you could only order 12, they came in 2 separate boxes of 6... why couldn't I buy only 6? I only ordered them because my maiden name was Mackie,to give to my kids and grandkids, no one liked them I still have 6 pkgs left.

Baked Cardboard Crisps with Top Ramen Beef Noodle flavoring
These are more like thin cardboard crisps rather than potato chips. Seems to have been baked. Not as greasy as other chipsflavoring is kind of like the flavor found in those powdered top ramen beef noodle packets with some soy sauce, but less salty. The closest type of potato chips that resembles this texture that I know of are pringles. Pringles are much much much better imo. Also makes your poop smell terrible. Really terrible. The only plus side to these chips is that they taste okay while you're eating a sandwich

DISAPPOINTED!!
I had been salivating over these "steak" flavored kettle cooked potato chips for a long, long time. I just couldn't see myself paying so much for them...well, finally they were on special, so I bought a case of them. They are good--don't get me wrong--but they don't live up to the description on the package. It's cool that they list the actual variety of potato and where it was grown on the bag--that, I truly dig (no pun intended.) But they don't actually taste of flamegrilled angus steak. They aren't overly salty, and they are good, but nothing special and that's what disappoints me. Know what really gets me? We went to a discount chain last week and bought a big bag of Heinz Ketchup chips and paid two bucks for them--and they are delish! Who woulda thunk it? I did not expect to like them, but the kids wanted them. Now, if you want crunchy, fresh chips, go with these Mackies of Scotland brand chips--they have other flavors and I think maybe they might have been better than the beef ones. I just don't taste beef with these chips here. More like slightly smoky, slightly salty, very crunchy. Not bad, but not worth the extra money, at least for this variety, in my opinion.

These are Great!
I really like these and they are an excellent complement to a sandwich. Really flavorful, not as much as the haggis, but very good. Try em!

Best Ever!!
I had these while visiting Ireland and fell in love with them. Always going on Mackies website to see if they were being sold in the US. And then I found them here. Love, love, love these chips!!!
