Needs blocking behind the wall.
We put in a new shower and added this seat. It works great. It is sturdy and nice looking as well.

Successful Installation with Toggle Bolts
It was scary drilling big holes in the shower wall to feed in big toggle bolts, but it is holding well and looks great.

Very Happy
Takes a little thinking ahead to install but it is quite nice and useful. The directions recommend exact placement of mounting holes but I think no matter how exact they are the screw heads stick out and interfere with the back boards. We countersunk the holes in the mounting bracket to solve the problem.

After about two months of use the seat is bending down and looks like it’s close to breaking !!

We are absolutely delighted with our Teak Folding Shower Bench. We had our handyman to install it directly into the stubs. Directly behind the bench is a closet so it was quick and easy to reinforce that area.
