As nails are the method of attachment adjusting the seal after installation is not an option. My door is very old, fits at the top with a big gap at the bottom. I measured twice, cut once then tried to bridge the gap. The seal goes all the way round great, but despite my best efforts does not seal on the last 6" at the bottom of the door. I bought more stick on draft excluder and filled in with that. If the seal is too tight to the door it won't close properly.

Looks really nice, because it's all white, and is easy to fit.These are fit the opposite side of the way the door opens. So if the door opens inwards they are fitted on the outside, if the door opens outwards they are fitted on the inside.All you have to do is close the door and position the seals, pressing slightly, so they compress about 2mm. Then nail them in position.Perhaps the difficult part is cutting them to size, there must be no gaps or the seal is broken, and they just don't work.Corners are difficult. A mitre saw is a good plan. A 2mm drill is useful, if you need more holes. You may well need one or two holes to ensure any "joints" are good.All in all a very good product, but like all DIY, you must have the tools and the patience to do it right, or you might as well stick spaghetti on the door - it's going to work as well.

I liked this product. Well made and its design made a tight seal to door. No draft at all

Dropped a star as could have supplied 2 2.1m lengths and a 1m length to do door frame, but suspect its easier to pack in 1m approx lentghs (x5).But easy to put on and in future when joinery seal needs replaced it can be replaced easily on its own as you have the frame there.Used on composite door with wood frame to act as a secondary seal, but outer seal. Door has no drafts now.

Seals arrive in short lengths which haven't been cut square, so when it come to fitting the seals dont match and let in rain - longer seal lengths can be found out there !
