More of What You Love
I absolutely love the Leven Thumps series of books, and was thrilled to discover that Book 3 of the series did nothing to damage my feelings for the previous volumes. If anything, it made me love them all more.In Book One of this series, Leven Thumps made his way to a magical world known as Foo, where dreams ARE reality. In Book Two, Leven helped his friend Geth journey across Foo to change back into his real form from the tiny toothpick he had become. And here, in Book Three, EVERYTHING happens.Leven meets the Want--the half-crazy sort-of-ruler of Foo, who sees humanity's every dream. Geth discovers he's shrinking, because part of him is missing.... A secret that threatens the existence of Foo gets out. The entire realm prepares for war. Leven's former guardian, Terry Graph, discovers a bizarre and powerful robe. The dangers of Foo begin leaking into reality. And a great evil, hidden beneath the soil, begins to reveal itself. This book is funny, surprising, and well worth the wait. Its ending is terrific, unbelievably shocking and exciting, and makes the entire book worth it.There are a lot of young adult fantasy books being written today, spawning in the wake of the HMS Harry Potter, but not all of them deserve the time they take to read. This one, however, the saga of Leven Thumps and the world of Foo, does. This one is great. This one, you should buy.

Obert Skye Does It Again!
I love this book through and through! It has a grasping plot and so much action. However, to readers under eight, the plot might be a bit perplexing and hard to follow. This is due to the many characters and stories. By stories I mean switching scenes from one place to another. Also, Obert Skye has a habit of taking a very long time to set up a plot line. I personally love how she takes her time, but many young readers might not like the setup. Although I love Skye's style of writing, there was something really nagging me about her ending. It seemed a bit rushed; unfinished. There were too many cliffhangers to keep track of, which is confusing. Overall, I'd say this is one of the best series I've read in a long time. I strongly recommend it, especially to people in my age range (10-13). Although, this is an outstanding book for any age, and, in my opinion, would be great to read to your class if you're a teacher.

Don't judge a book by its name!
This series is so underrated! PLEASE don't judge this series by its name. Yeah "Leaven Thumps" may seem like a weird, funny name at first, but you're missing out on an amazing plot and everything if you decide not to read the books just because of that. SERIOUSLY.

Another excellent installment with a twist ending
I have enjoyed this series and looked forward to this book, as have my tweens and teen. The plot is intriguing, the characters are well drawn, the suspense and twists and turns keep me on the edge of my seat. Foo is such a fun place to visit and I enjoy the imagination of this fantasy writer. In this installment, the plot moves forward without Leven's side kick Clover (picture a cross between Jiminy Cricket and the dragon in the Disney movie Mulan.) Leven has to undo potential damage that he has accidentally caused to his dear sycophant, all other sycophants, and all of foo. Can he right wrongs in time? As he tries to find the resolution of this problem, he encounters many more challenges and fate rescues him several times leaving him bruised and older. But, as he continues, he learns that things are not as they seem and may be actually much worse in this world.Meanwhile, life in reality is getting worse and worse. The news stations can't keep up with the devastation of strange happenings and disasters and dreams are weakening. Forces there are trying to get back into foo and break down the barrier. Then, at the end, Leven Thumps learns things that will change him and foo forever. They are devestating to him and will change the future for all of reality and foo as well. Can he make it be changes for the good or is it too late? Can he turn the tide before it is too late? This book may not have all the answers, but if Leven makes it out alive, with or without his friends, you will be left invigorated, satisfied and wanting to read more all at once! This book is breathlessly exciting, sometimes a little hard to follow with so much going on, but a satisfying read. A must read series for all fantasy lovers and highly recommended for anyone who can put up with the genre. I strongly recommend reading books one and two before you read this one, but it does stand on its own if you concentrate. This Leven Thumps surprise ending will intrigue you and make you a fan if you weren't before. And besides your reality may depend on it!
