This computer is far, far better than it has any right being. I bought this in acceptable condition, and the laptop I received was nearly spotless. The stylus has some pressure sensitivity- not as much as an apple pencil or a drawing tablet, but enough to be more than serviceable for art. It's completely capable of surfing the web and running light apps, and the battery is still good enough to not be a hinderance. I have no complaints

Very impressed for it being in “Acceptable” condition. Ordered this chromebook for school purposes, as my current one was failing and I was on a tight budget for a different one. Ordered this one in hopes of it lasting minimum of a couple years. Wasn’t expecting it to be this nice out of the box. Everything works, It’s pretty dang speedy for being a 4gb ram chromebook, and it’s got plenty of storage for what I need. Very impressed on how fast it shipped too. Got it in 3 days from the ordering.

I have 2 already and just order a 3rd. My second Chromebook did not come with the stylus/pen and the seller quickly shipped me the stylus/pen. This is a great Chromebook for all our basic needs. I use mine on flights to get some work done. I really like the tent/tablet mode for watching videos. Some of my favorite apps are also available on this Chromebook. The seller is very good to work with and I just ordered one more for my daughter. The quality is what you would expect for a used educational edition Chromebook. Some buyers expect that theirs will be flawless. So far on all of mine the screen has been scratch free. Once I get them I clean them really well and even put a coat of armor all on the housing to shine it back up. Both of the Chromebooks I have received have been in excellent condition and fully functional. These things have 4gb of ram and a roughly 2.5ghz quad core processor, so apps run very smooth. Video quality is great, but I'm not sure what resolution the screen is. I recommend the 500e to anyone looking for a cheap Chromebook suitable for browsing, watching videos, and playing the occasional games.

I have ordered 3 of these. The first one I ordered looked in very good condition, and worked well but stopped working after about a month, and due to a problem with my Amazon account I can no longer access it to make a return (have to use husband's account now). I then ordered 2 more, and when they came I realized that my 1st order hadn't even been the correct item! Only 1 of the 3 was actually a 2nd gen!!!These last 2 came in pretty bad physical condition. I bought it renewed in excellent condition, which should be close to new looking. Faaaaaar from it! I'm keeping the one that is actually the correct product, because (so far) it's working correctly. I'm putting a case over it, so the scratches all over won't be a big deal.What IS a big deal is the other one that came. Not only was it not a 2nd generation, as ordered, and it was extremely worn and scratched all over (even the keys had heavy wear) but it is even CRACKED on one corner, and the glass screen is popping out on that corner, too!This company is doing a terrible job, and I'm returning the worst of the last 2 as soon as I can. I'm hesitant to ask for a replacement because who knows what I'll receive this time.My expectations aren't as high as most. All I wanted was for them to be the correct item, not look like they've been thrown on concrete over and over, and work properly. Sadly, they can't even live up to this, despite selling these claiming they've been renewed to excellent.

First the good: I received my Chromebook in excellent condition! Considering its age, it looked like new and has great performance. Not one scratch or blemish on it. 2 in 1 touch screen works perfectly. No issues with hinges when placing it in tablet mode. All keys worked. Not mentioned on product page is that it had 4 ports (2 USB C style and 2 older style) and a micro SD slot. All of which work fine. Now the bad and my only complaint: The product page list this Chromebook as being released on 6/16/2022. I purchased this Chromebook based on this information. When I first turned it on, I checked through OS settings and saw that the Auto Update Expiration date is 6/2027. Only 3 years from now. Upon further investigation, I found out that this device was released in 6/2018. IMO, This is very DECEPTIVE!! I purchased this item based on the listed release date on the product page. If I had known it was 2018, I would have purchased a newer, i.e., 2020, renewed Chromebook I saw out there. Lesson learned for me. I would have given this product 5 stars, it really is in excellent condition, but due to the deception, I am knocking it down to 3, and debating whether to keep it or return it. I also wasn’t pleased that a few hours after ordering the Chromebook, all of a sudden it was around $10 cheaper than what I paid for it. Then the next day it was back to around what I paid for it.If you are OK with a Chromebook that will receive OS updates for only 3 more years, then by all means purchase this one. New Chromebooks with 2 in 1 screens are not cheap. The one I received really is in great condition. Maybe I’ll just buy a used one every 3 years.

Arrived in great condition, and great customer service. I guess I was in such a hurry to use it I immediately lost the charger. I didn’t notice for about a week. I contacted the seller and they are sending another charger. Then I found the it in the other room. I feel like such an idiot.
