A 90's Classic
I never had one of these as a kid, but always wanted one. Now I'm an adult, and I can afford things I wanted as a child, and the tama met and exceeded my expectations. for 21 days it was a constant blast of nostalgia for this thing I had never actually experienced. I don't know if I would get one of these for a young child though, mine would frequently stay up until about 11pm, and towards the end of it's life it became incredibly dependent, needing attention every 10-15 minutes. This could be a problem for younger kids with an early bed time, and school. On the other hand I do appreciate the experience of it requiring a lot of your attention while young, and even more when old, it could be a valuable tool for anyone considering getting a first pet, as keeping your tama happy and healthy is going to require a fair bit of dedication. Lots of little life lessons to be learned from this little dot matrix egg toy for kids.
