Review after long-term use
After more than a year of use, very happy with this monitor's quality. Good display and sound quality. One problem though is the stand. Although it hasn't toppled so far, it leaves me restless.

Perfect for the price
Amazing quality display and colors and very good loud speakers. Only downside is the stand isn’t hight adjustable so you’ll need a monitor riser or monitor arm. Overall very happy with it.

Nice monitor … but the stand is terrible
I like this monitor … but the stand it comes with is just a joke …it’s not adjustable and it’s flimsy … causing the monitor to constantly tilt forward…

Terrible stand
montior itself is okay but the stand is terrible, it broke today after falling off due to how clumsy the stand is. use your money well and find another montior.

I really love the ultrawide monitors. I am a believer in them! I initially bought the previous years lower model (29WP500-B). I ended up returning it and getting these on sale. These are the newest 29" widescreen models. I bought 2 of these to replace my two side by side 24" monitors. It was a big upgrade as the screen space is so much more than my previous monitors. As an accountant, it really helps with my work since there's more space for my spreadsheets. It has HDR10 so the colours are amazing when enabling HDR. There's also a picture setting on the monitor to enable HDR picture mode. I'm definitely treating my eyes for sure! I love the bezel less design as it matches my LG TV and monitors. It has one HDMI input, one DisplayPort input, one USB-C input, and one headphone out. It also has 2 7W internal speakers. It comes with a power plug that is slimmer than the previous model, a white HDMI cable, and the stand. I have these mounted side by side so I didn't use the stand. It's easy to assemble on the stand though as it's just two screws and the cap to cover it. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for an ultrawide screen. As a heads up, check your wires to see if they support HDR and widescreen resolution since there's different HDMI versions. Also, if you're thinking about using an HDMI to DisplayPort converter, I have yet to find one that supports wide screen resolution. The ones I have and seen online only go up to 1080p.

I needed an extra monitor for relatives to use while visiting and working remotely. That meant ultra wide, good quality, and relatively inexpensive as it'll only be used a few months a year. I use a much higher end LG for my daily work and occasional gaming, and like the brand, so it's the first manufacturer I looked for. After comparing a half dozen models I chose this one. This monitor meets all those requirements and more. It's nicely designed and functional, and very inexpensive relative to other options of equivalent quality. The only downside is that it doesn't adjust up and down, it only tilts, but adding a monitor stand resolves that problem while making a more space-efficient solution. The refresh rate is not good enough for high-end gaming or entertainment, but as a work-from-home setup for office productivity it's perfect. All-in-all I'm glad I got it.

Bought this monitor as I was going back to college and at home Im used to using a 34i" monitor. So I needed a monitor just as big. LG is a reputable brand for its TVs and it's monitors and has always had my trust and obviously is very reliable. I would buy LG over Samsung when it comes to monitors because I've previously owned Samsung monitors and all of them broke down first before the LG ones. This monitor when purchasing it at the time was a steal. The price you pay for 32" monitor and bigger are almost 2-3x more in price but the size of this monitor is comparable to those ones. This monitor is also great for students because as mentioned before is big enough for multi-tasking. It is big but small enough that it can be transported very easily unlike bigger monitors. The quality of this monitor is fantastic and the specs are almost as good as the higher spec. monitors. Just remember you get what you pay for. If you want a higher quality monitor (ie. higher refresh rates, bigger size, 4K vs OLED) you will pay a premium for it This monitor is good for what it can do. My only dislike about this monitor is that the height cannot be adjusted. But for me it is not a deal breaker.
