Lots of activities
I got this book for my 6 year old, she loves it! I would say that it’s probably better suited for 8 and up. There’s just a lot of reading and writing so it’d be easier for a child who can already read and write.

informative for kids
1. Releasing your anger will help you let go of stress and will help you calm your nerves. 2. Anger can give you energy. Energy can motivate you to do some pretty great things. 3. Anger can help you solve problems. Coming up with new solutions to issues is a great way to focus when you get mad. 4. People find something positive when they get angry. When you get angry about something, it means you care about it. Use that caring feeling to find positivity. 5. Anger can tell you something is wrong. You don’t have to act out on it; instead, when you get angry, play detective and figure out what is going on.this book is great. it is very informative for kids. it’s important for kids to learn what causes then anger , how to prevent being angry and how to resolve the anger. the best is to talk to someone on why they feel angry , when the kids are able to express themselves they will learn the reason. there are trucks listed in the book on how to manage anger such as singing a song. the kids will also learn how to compromise, and that there are consequences at times when people get angry and especially when people act on the anger. there is just a lot of example scenarios and tips on this book. i enjoy reading this book it’s not only for kids but good for adults to know too. i wish books like these were out when i was younger. schools never really go into details about emotions and how to handle them. i would definitely recommend this for kids or my friends with kids to read this books.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Lots of good info
This has a ton of information and activities packed into this book. There are lots of ideas and different kinds of activities for different kinds of kids. I like the different activities like word searches and information about understanding the why and how behind our feelings of anger, but also understanding that there isn't just one way to manage anger either.I feel that this book is better suited for parents to utilize and do activities along with kids. The language in many of the passages is geared towards smaller children, but the paragraphs and sheer length of the passages are something above the age group this is geared towards. Some of the activities are more like quizzes and journaling. With that being said, there's a lot of useful information and activities for parents to use with their kiddos.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Great activity book to help kids learn to deal with anger
This is a great activity book to help kids learn to deal with anger. It has exercises to help kids realize how their body feels when they get angry. It also teaches them there are different types of anger and naming which one will help them deal with it. The book tries to teach that being angry is normal but the important thing is how they express their anger. There are activities to keep kids from shifting blame for their actions onto someone else and to take responsibility for their own actions. Most of the activities would have to occur more when the anger is dying down and the child can try to think calmly. This book probably wouldn't work with younger children. If your child needs help dealing with anger, this book has some good tools to help.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Realistic and User-Friendly
As a social skills instructor and counselor, I work in schools with students (grades k-12) on the autism spectrum and those who struggle with self-control and emotional regulation. This workbook does a great job of starting from the very beginning to address what anger is and where it can come from; no matter the child’s age, you should never assume what they know. The activities within are appropriate for various ages, independent or dependent work, and can be easily carried out in a “real-world” setting. Can’t wait to integrate this resource during the coming school year as we discuss anger and self control.

Workbook
The anger management workbook for kids seems like a great thing. I have 4 kids but this only pertains to my oldest who doesn’t, at the moment, seem to want to sit and read or do the activities. Everything I saw in it seems to work well but I do recommend if you want the workbook part, get the physical copy. You can use just a spiral with the kindle version though.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Fantastic resource.
This workbook was amazing. My son has terrible anger issues and I have been looking for ways to help him manage his anger that arise when he perceives slights against him. This book has fantastic strategies that helped me help him.He seems better at verbalizing his feelings instead of acting them out. This workbook was easy to understand and use.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

good for children
my son is having to be bribed to try this book, but ill give anything a go to sort his behaviour. Has fun interactive tasks with drawing and questions to answer then it's broken up by fun games such as word searches. I like the idea of it, its just my sons a stubborn so and so.
