The media could not be loaded. I did a ton of research before buying this watch. I was hesitant about going with a 3rd party reseller but felt much better after doing my homework. The most important part of the watch is the mechanism which is made in the official factory and only the final assembly is farmed out to other companies. I was shocked at how well this was set up and packaged when I received it from Seakoss.I went with the 38mm Sapphire option and have been wearing it for the past couple weeks. While this is not a long term review, I can say that everything has been functioning perfectly right out of the box. I haven’t been careful with it either. I just put it on and went about my day. I’ve even taken it out when running the snowblower twice in a -5 degree Michigan winter storm without issue. I know that mechanical watches are not meant to be used in harsh conditions but I honestly just forgot I had it on.Overall I’m super happy with the Seakoss Seagull 1963 and everyone who has seen it has mentioned how great it looks. As most people mentioned, the bands that come with the watch don’t do it justice. On a typical $25 to $50 watch I wouldn’t have thought much about it, but on this beautiful timepiece, they just don’t work. I would consider taking a star off the review since the band is such a big aspect of the overall watch, but I can also see that bands are frequently a personal preference and I probably would have wanted my own style regardless. Also, the watch is such a great deal that I just cant see not giving it 5 stars.Great job Sea-Gull and Seakoss!

I have to make an apology first; I foolishly left a poor review for this watch (and have since deleted) stating that the automatic mechanism stopped working. I FOOLISHLY forgot this this watch is a mechanical, hand-wind watch. :(There was/is nothing wrong with the movement, it just needed winding.My foolishness and mistake aside, this hand-wind watch is truly a gem! You will NOT find a mechanical chronograph for anywhere near this pricepoint or with the features that this watch has.

I like the history of this watch and appreciate that it wears and looks vintage.The nato shipped with it is decent, the leather band is not very impressive. Easy to change though.Mine keeps good time and the chronograph features are crisp. All in all, a good value for the money.

The best looking and working sub 1000 mechanical chronograph I have ever seen

Not a bad watch, just wears larger than 38mm, so I returned it. Disadvantage to not being able to see in person before buying!
