Max & Lily Modern Farmhouse Low Loft Bed, Twin Bed Frame for Kids with 2 Bookcases, Driftwood

Bought for my grandson 10 that used his closet as his “man cave” 😂 He spends hours in it!! I was afraid it would be too young for him. I took the chance since other loft beds were higher and we worried about hitting his head on the fan. You know boys wrestling or being boys!! The cave below is low in height and he can’t sit straight up but can sit cross legged and hunched and loves laying and reading. He is almost 5 ft tall. The instructions were great! The box is very heavy!!It takes two people to put together since sometimes one has to hold a piece while the other screws. If not doing that I would set out the pieces for the next step. It helps to have a bowl to put screws in since there aren’t extra. The bed turned out great!!! One side on the bottom is made to be against a wall since it is open. We liked that since he then had access to a plug for light and fan. We may use the bed longer than anticipated because with open side we will turn it around and use as storage (college dorm style ) Just our thought.

Our son is very happy with his new bed. It’s not super high up and the hangout spot under it, is what every kid dreams of! It’s his secret little fort and he loves it. The shelves are a big plus as well. Pretty solid wood and hardware. A little on the pricey side but it’s a beautiful and cool unit!

Fantastic bed with innovative design, I was surprised on how sturdy the bed came out to be. I will say the instruction manual gives minimal help so if you’re not savvy on these kinds of things it might be difficult. Power tools recommended! As for the bad, the only thing is that the paint on this bed is low quality. Maybe needs another coat of paint. Other then that my duaghter enjoys her new bed!

Amazing bed, 3 year old absolutely loves it. Kids play in the spot underneath all the time

First of all, great bed. Solid, sturdy, well made. All solid pine except for the bookshelf backing, which was still good quality, not flimsy. Second: forewarning - it took me almost 9 hours to put this thing together. Yes, my 5 year old was home, and more bored than he has been in his entire life, even with a movie on, unlimited snacks, and also "helping" me. I took several breaks. I am exhausted. But he loves it so it's worth the struggle. TIP: USE A DRILL FOR THE SCREWS. Doesn't call for it in the manual but it will save your hands. Great bed but cheezus crust.
