Best use of space for a travel trailer
I bought this to carry two bikes while pulling my 23' travel trailer. My trailer does not have a receiver hitch, so it was either the Jack-it or using bed space in my truck. The Jack-it has turned into a perfect solution, using space that nothing else what using! When does that ever happen when RVing? The Jack-it is super stable, because the tongue of the trailer has very little movement, and way less than the super bouncy back of the trailer. I can see the bikes all the time in my rear view mirror, and they barely move. No worries!ALSO! I bought the Bump-it receiver hitch adapter, so when we get to a camp site and we want to take the truck to a trailhead to go biking, the bike rack goes right onto the back of the truck. Like two bike racks in one. This is great for me, because the bed of my truck is loaded with my generator, sewer tote, other storage totes, my inflatable kayak, etc. I want all that stuff secure under my tonneau cover while I'm off biking. All-in-all, this is a great system if you have an LCI power tongue jack.Downside: You have to lift the bikes over your head to get them on the bike rack when it's mounted on the trailer. I actually bring a painters three step ladder to help me with that. One more thing for the back of the truck.

Great bike rack for complicated bike hauling
For pop up campers with no ability to store bikes on the back of the camper, this is a great solution. It works well and still allows great clearance for the back of an SUV in turns. It also can work with an adapter to become a regular bike rack for the back of the car, which is great for driving to a trail from a camp site - it’s easy to remove the top part from the trailer.I did take off one star because the bikes are up high and can be difficult to hoist up and position. That is more a function of this type of rig than an issue with with this particular model. I also felt that the bottom posts can be a bit fussy to align to the wheels. It can also be slightly tricky to keep the two bikes from interfering with each other when first mounting them. But once you get used to it with your bikes you learn how to orient them after a few outings. The thing I really like is I still have access to my propane tanks and battery on the trailer. So it’s a trade off for the height issue. I did have to replace my trailer jack with a front cranking model instead of a top crank but that was easy. All in all this is a great solution (really one of the only ones I found) for taking bikes with a pop up trailer and I’m really happy with it. I’m fine with the compromises and it’s a lot easier to mount than a roof bike rack for the top of my SUV.

If you own a travel trailer and take bikes with you, this is a must.
This keeps your bikes in front of the trailer where they get a much smoother ride. And as a bonus, you can use it with just your car or truck with the addition of the Let's Go Aero - 723359 Bump-It Receiver Adapter. That saves you from carrying a separate bike rack with you on trips in order to take the bikes when leaving the trailer parked. Fantastic duo.

Difficult installation
Overall, it's well built and sturdy and I like having the bikes where I can easily see them. The installation was somewhat challenging, partly because the instruction were not well written and illustrated, but also because it's a tight fit above the jack.Loading and unloading the bikes is not easy, my wife probably won't be able to do it.

Worth all the research before the purchase
We have a 33 ft. travel trailer with a 4x4 inch rear bumper. After reading reviews of rear-mount bike racks warping similar bumpers, we decided against them. We purchased this front-mount bike rack and are very pleased that we did. The installation was extremely easy. The quality is exceptional. NOTE: if you have a side-mount hand crank, this will not work for you.As other reviews warned, learning how to mount the bikes in the air was a little tricky the first time. It took two of us and two step-ladders to get the 2 adult bikes up there (facing opposite directions) and adjust the hangers and anti-sway bars. The straps held the bikes very securely. On the 4-hour trip to the RV park, the bikes didn't move at all. The whole rack swayed just a little bit but still felt secure. There's was a sense of comfort being able to see the bikes from inside the truck. Getting them down the first time was also a lesson. By the time we were ready to mount the bikes for the return trip home, we had it down pat and only needed one step ladder (but still two people for now). I am so happy with this purchase and highly recommend Let's Go Aero Jack-It Double Bike Carrier System.

Holds bikes securely
This did not fit as it was intended so my husband made a small modification and it’s perfect. Having the angled section between the base and the bikes caused a fit issue so he made it work. Travelled several hours and our bikes did not move.
