Didn't work at all, when plugged in, it is not secured, it is loose and has the potential to fall out easily.
This product wasn't even in the orignal box when I opened the shipping box. It had fallen out? which doens't seem likely because when I put the product back in the original box it was pretty secure in there. Anyways, the unit didn't work at all and when plugged in to the laptop it, the unit was loose and could easily fall out. Also, when checking Fakespot.com and plugging in the URL to this page, it gives it a rating of a D which means there are some fake reviews on here, which are probably trying to make the product seem better than what it really is!

Bad Connection - it only works sometimes
This is a great product in theory, however, mine has a very poor connection. I own a rose gold Macbook. I purchased this hub because I liked that it connected directly and would fit snug next to my Macbook rather than having a cord like most. I also liked that it would be the same color as my Macbook, and almost look like it was part of the laptop. However, when I plug the hub in and use it to have access to a regular USB, the connection through the port goes in and out. My backup hard-drive connects and reconnects again and again. I have trouble downloading pictures from my camera. It connects and disconnects when I try to charge my Mac through the port. If it weren't already past the return window for this product, I would return it. It doesn't work correctly at all.

... with the price thinking I was going to work better then the others
I ordered this even with the price thinking I was going to work better then the others, but i was totally wrong. Initially thought the port was too lose on my 12inch Macbook so i gave it try for another month. Well, month later is still lose and on top of that the macbook cord does recognize is plugged in and wont charge. If i could return it, I would.

Extremely disappointed
This is a horrible product. Stopped working after a month of having it. Lost all my photos in a transfer to my computer. Very disappointed.

The port is thicker than the bottom half of your laptop which causes it to fall out.
Listen to the people who say it doesn't work. Because it doesn't. It reconnects and disconnects and its thicker than the laptop so it doesn't fit well, which is probably why it disconnects and reconnects. I tried putting something under in hopes it would stay connected better without it being lopsided but it doesn't work. I'm so disappointed I will be returning it. It reconnects and disconnects every 3 seconds, can't do anything with that...

Does not work!
I was very excited to receive this product, however it does not work. I attempted to use a wireless mouse with a USB insert and it refused to register that it was plugged in. I am very disappointed in this product.

Don’t purchase!!
My MacBook keeps notifying me that my jumpdrive has been ejected even though it is inserted using this device. Totally not worth purchasing. I’m not looking for something better.

Got it for my new MacBook and it doesn't work ...
Got it for my new MacBook and it doesn't work. I put my camera chip in and plug it in and a minute later it "ejects". It feels loose and I don't trust that it's not damaging the insides of my brand new computer.
