When opening the package the rails seem to be well made however one part of the plastic that holds the rampant in place was slightly cracked. Although in the area that it's cracked I'm sure the ramp will still be usable. However I'll have to take a loss in the ramp that I purchased which was 6 ft length because the vertical drop was too steep for me to push my mother in the wheelchair up The ramp it was too steep. Looks like I'll have to take a loss in purchasing the ramp, I wasn't able to use it. I'll have to now purchase another ramp 10 ft in length. I purchased the ramp thinking I was going to use it within the 30 days of purchasing it. However something came up and I wasn't able to take it with me on vacation within the 30 days. I just got up to the mountains this week The place where I was going to use the ramp and discovered that it's not long enough and I'm outside of my 30 days. It would be great if ruedmann could help me by taking it back even though I'm out of my 30 days and allowing me to put it towards the 10 foot ramp.

Nice to be able to purchase an aluminum ramp capable of retracting from 6’ to 3’, making it easy to transport.

Delivery was very fast. Item description claims that these are 8" wide. I ordered these based on that claim. The extension is 6 3/4" wide and outer one is 7 3/16" . That is total usable space. The overall width including track is 8". this should be advertised as "usable width". (When you measure a room you measure width. You don't include the thickness of the walls) One arrived with a chipped guide. I'll think over the weekend if these are going back or not.

This was the perfect solutions for portable wheelchair access to our home and for when we travel to our daughters homes. It eliminated the need for a permanent wheelchair ramp at our apartment that I would be responsible for shoveling and removal upon moving or no longer needed. Also easy for a 68 yo woman to handle

These have made it possible for me to get into my house with more security and ease than trying to use the steps. They are light weight and can be moved easily to where I need them(I have physical problems with climbing stairs but the incline these provide a way to go around the steps). I am not a lightweight person and these have shown no signs of buckling or beaking.
