Prego Italian Tomato Pasta Sauce Flavored With Meat, 67 OZ Jar (Case of 6)

I like to make homemade sauce, but there are days it is nice to have a jar on hand. Especially if you live in an area where the power can be iffy in the winter. The jar is exactly the right amount for 4 people. The sauce quality is good, taste good, regardless of whether or not you feel like you have to dress it up with extras.

This pasta sauce is of excellent quality and for the size can use it over several meals if needed as the quantity was larger than expected.

This is what we prefer for pasta sauce so I bought a few jars for stocking up since the price is cheaper than buying at the store.

Great sauce just add mushrooms,basil,oregano and parsley.

I already know this is going to be a somewhat “controversial” review… but it IS my personal opinion! I absolutely LOVE Prego Sauce, it has a strong tomato-ey flavor, a little on the sweeter side, with a good amount of salt(I LOVE salty sauce)! With 470g (20%) sodium, the Meat variety has 70calories per individual serving. The sauce is a “smoother” blend, but with a small amount of actual tiny chunks of ground beef. Amazon’s price typically can’t be beat, not even at Walmart. Prego’s been my favorite jarred sauce brand for over 30 years… I’m never going to stop choosing it over all the others!
