Easiest spigot valve I've ever replaced! LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
OK... I have a house that was built in 1967, concrete block. I needed to replace my original water spigot because the old one leaked profusely when used. Since this required no soldiering, crimping, or any special tools I decided to try it. Oh My Gosh! The hardest part was de-soldiering the old spigot, that just took patience to get the old one hot enough that the almost 50 year old soldier to let loose. It came off clean and I was able to use a copper tubing brush to clean off any imperfections to the pipe and then it was a simple push and light pull back and it was installed. I did the whole job in about 45 minutes. Worked great, no leaks. My house had 1/2 copper tubing, I didn't have to recut anything, I just cleaned up the end that was soldiered and pushed the new spigot (sillcock, faucet, bibb, etc) onto the old pipe and was back in business. All that's left is to reapply some stucco patch, repaint and it will look original. (except for the shiny new spigot.)WARNING: Once you push this on it WON'T come off and depending on your installation (like mine) you can't get ANY type of tool to the back-side to push the release ring in to remove it! The ONLY way to remove it is to cut it off... so make SURE your piping is clean, round, free of burrs and deep scratches BEFORE you push it on!

Good product, easy install
Where’s this product been? Easy to install and saves a lot of aggravation. It does spin freely on the pipe when installed and if you can’t utilize the screw notches. My pipe is far away from my house and I didn’t want to cut more of it. I’ll deal with the spin

Easy
This thing is amazing. I'm not sure if I'll ever go back to sweating joints. The most difficult part was removing the old leaking unit because of the presence of water in the pipe. Make a note on the install pipe a distance of 1.25" as instructed so that you push it on enough. It's on, not leaking and the spiquot is working fine.

We have purchased a few of these.Good quality
And cheaper than the big box stores. The ones they sell are junk and over priced. This one is well made and easy to install.

Great product.
This was the only sillcock that I could find that had a 1/2" PEX push fit connection. It works great and was simple to install. I was accustom to working with Sharkbite push fittings, and this is roughly the same; however, you need to put a small plastic cylinder, flared on one end, into the PEX tubing before you insert the tubing into the sillcock. Works great, easy to install.

Once It is On, It Is On....
No compromise here, as with Sharkbite fittings. Once this sets, it is never coming off.
