3M Clear Paint Surface Protection Vinyl Film (6 Inch x 60 Inch)

Worked great, great quality. Easy peal off if needed. I used this for a parade of lights as my adhesive. Every 3 bulbs of light i used a rectangular piece i had pre cut. Lasted very long and held very well/

This is the best protection for Louboutins I've seen so far! Easy application, lasts a long time and is not slippery. As you can see in the photos, one hasn't ben worn yet and the other has been work about 10 times or more. Still bright red and glossy, barely any signs of wear. After wearing, I wipe the soles with a damp napkin and it works perfectly! Once you apply it, let it sit for a day or 2 so the film adheres completely and it will be almost unnoticeable.

I'm building a new off road racing bike and I wanted to keep the fresh new Trek frame free from scuffs. I trust 3M products although I think the trademark gets put on to many items here. This one seemed authentic so I tried some and so far, it looks great. It's easy to apply, kinda stretchy and you can unstick it to re-adhere it if you get bubbles or make mistakes. I would advise using some sort of soft squeegee to press out the bubbles. Check the picture. You can see small bubbles but I'm more concerned about the protection. Material seems nice and durable. Should keep my new racing frame fancy looking.

Thus is cool stuff but HARD to apply!

Easy to cut to shape and is a good thickness for small impact resistance, I use it on my bike and it keeps the small rocks from damaging my finish

This stuff is HARD to put on cleanly without fingerprints and bubbles. I consider myself handy and meticulous, but I failed at the task of applying this to my curved back bumper horizontal surface. I was protecting new paint and new car from big dog claws jumping in and out of my SUV. The product is thick enough and has some stretch to it. but I was unsuccessful at laying it down dead smooth, and my re-tries created finger prints on the sticky side. It does the job, but if you are not going on a dead flat surface, and can spend a couple hundred dollars, you might be better going to a shop that applies clear bras on cars. Don't get me wrong, this is not 3Ms fault, I just over-reached the task and my expectations. The resulting product will do the job, and looks fine 10 feet away. Just an FYI.

This film is pretty easy to work with. Like tint, spay some soapy water down and then position this film. You'll need window tinting tools to make this application go smoothly. It has enough stretch to conform to some slight bends, like a motorcycle fuel tank top. After that, you're gonna have to cut darts for complex curves and that's not easy. I made strips instead and that worked fine. After all, this is not about looking perfect, it's about protection.

After searching for pre-made sole protection, I decided to try this product. 3M is a great manufacturer so I went for it. Just take your time. Use a hair dryer to remove the stickers from your shoes. Wash your hands. Clean the soles to remove any oil and glue residue. I used a little Dawn, cotton pad and a wet and dry paper towel. Make a stencil. Only need one, turn it over, one side is Left, the other side is Right. Perfect the stencil. Cut an additional 1/2" or so, so the film goes into the instep. The film is on the soles in the photos. The adhesion appears great. Just start at the top. Rub down and to the sides as you slowly remove the paper. If you need to adjust, try not to touch the sticky side of the film with your fingers. Use the paper. It took longer to trace and cut than it did to install. I only used 6 inches of film. Looks great. We'll see how it wears. I might do a second application. We'll see.. I'll use a hair dryer to remove when needed. Just praying that it comes off without removing any red paint on the soles. If not, I'll do it again. Wish me luck.

Puede proteger una área muy pequeña. Quise cubrir una sección de 13 pulgadas para proteger el frente expuesto del salpicadero y me quedaba con muchas burbujas. No lo puede utilizar como quería.
