Actually it was a cute story!!!
I don't know, but people need to lighten up a little bit. My daughters and I thought it was a cute story. This is a vain little girl that was kind of annoying in a funny way. Even the wolf found her hilarious I would say. My daughters know the real story of the Red Riding Hood and we found this one with a different tweak to it. I just don't understand why some people would say that it would be scary for kids. I think parents are the one that transfer those negative feelings. Use those opportunities for learning experiences rather than negative ones. Be open minded to different things in life... believe me, you will find life easier. Life is too short, find humor in it.

Hilarious!
This book is pretty dang funny. Basically a conceited Red Riding Hood runs into the wolf. He cannot stand how self-centered she is, so he decides he must eat her. She is plump and resembles an apple, and he's craving apples. The book is very snarky, yet appropriate for children. The end result (spoiler alert) is him eating them both. A great story that is also hilarious and teaches a lesson....to be aware of your surroundings and not to be 100% centered on yourself.

Awesome alternative to the original!
Honestly, my daughter and I liked the story better than the original. Haha. It was very interesting, funny, and the wolf’s love of apples was adorable.

Meh
Product delivered quickly and as expected. The story just isn't as good as some of the other fairy tales showing the perspectives of the villain. My 6yo likes it fine, but we all prefer "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs."

Great Story
This was a great book to read to the kids. It captures a unique perspective of the story that I never would have thought of. The book arrived in perfect condition and I would order from them again in a heartbeat.

Great for year 2 children
We used this book as part of our work on 'mixed up fairytales' - it was great for supporting their work on 'introducing humour'.
