Sturdy but not bulky . Clean lines and front ladder can be put on either end to avoid ceiling fan and light. We replaced a c- shaped futon type full on bottom and twin top mattress. Never liked the lay down / tilt up futon feature and grandkids didn’t sleep well in the futon as they weren’t used to sleeping together.

This is a very sturdy bef, the color is very attractive, it is not too hard to put up, you should not rush it like I did and stripped a few screws.I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I was impressed by the strength, quality and appearance of the bed when it was finished.However, I highly recommend the use of an electric drill with Allen Wrench bits rather than the wrenches supplied with it, to put in all the screws required to put it together, or your arm will give out before you are through.The most difficult and time consuming part of the whole installation, was inserting the 30 metal slats that hold up the mattresses. Only a couple fit perfectly and were able to be installed by hand. the other 28 were off by by up to an eighth of an inch, too long and neither end could be inserted by hand. I had to use a block of wood (to prevent scaring) and a hammer to drive them in. After inserting the first end, I had to hammer the other end, of each, with the block and hammer to bend that end in a bit, until it would fit in the hole and then hammer it in. It was very time consuming and took two of us (in very uncomfortable positions) to accomplish. However, when it was completed the finished product was worth the effort and I feel very comfortable with my two grandchildren sleeping on it.The only other constructive criticism i would offer is on the lower bunk. On the side opposite the ladder, there nothing to prevent the mattress from slipping out of position and off the bed. It is not a safety issue, just a recommendation to make it a perfect product.

Holes do not match up ! Bed squeaks to big to return so I’m stuck with a bull crap bed and no money

It seems to be good! I have a 13 ur old n 8 yr old and the 13 says it sleeps good Seems to be sturdier than the one we had before!

This was bought for 2 very rambunctious boys who are going to be 6&7 soon !It was very easy to put together!And I needed something that was going to last a Long time so I decided on this !They absolutely love it !Very awesome!
