Larabar Lemon Bar, Gluten Free Vegan Fruit & Nut Bar, 1.6 oz Bars, 16 Ct

Shortest date box I have received was still ~6 months out, so these appear to sell relatively fast. Not dried out, nice and soft texture. Gotta watch out because you will sometimes get a tiny fragment of shell, but quality control is good/acceptable on Larabars. Simple ingredients, the sugar content is all from dates so it's at least unrefined. Plenty of fiber in these, don't eat too many! lol. The lemon bar variety might be my favorite. If you like lemon curd as a dessert, these are a similar level of sweetness and tanginess. Easy to go for a bite even w/ limited appetite and oh boy will they get your stomach started working. Important note, if these get hot they can get greasy and can go rancid fairly easily. Nuts will taste off if they have. I have not experienced this yet so so far, supply chain is doing a good job keeping them cool

I keep these at work and they're the perfect snack. Not too sweet, not too gooey, just tart enough.

Excellent flavor and texture but way too much sugar per serving for me to repeat this purchase. They ought to reduce the ration of dates - no one needs a treat THAT sweet... and I have a strong sweet tooth.

The Lemon flavored bars are GREAT! It's so hard to get Lemon flavor right! They did it! It's got the tartness, a hint of zest (but not bitter)! It's quite "Lemony"! YUMMY! Now - the Apple Pie flavor... WAY TOO MUCH CINNAMON! WAY TOO MUCH! (I've noticed that you can't get an apple pie WITHOUT CINNAMON these days in America! When did this happen? Apple Pie DID NOT used to have cinnamon in it! And if it did, it was only a HINT!) It's disgusting! It made me feel sick. I was really looking forward to a nice sweet APPLE flavor, but that cinnamon took over and ruined it. I don't understand American's obsession with OVER-FLAVORING with cinnamon and cloves and those things. ONLY A HINT should be used to ENHANCE, not over-power. I will try some other flavors and update later! But so far - these are GREAT! (Just cut out that strong cinnamon on the Apple Pie and it'd be PERFECT!)

I have always gotten the cashew cookie Larabars and I do really like them, but I was doing a Whole30 recently and ate one almost every day. So I got a little tired of the flavor & was looking for another compliant one (just fruit & nuts) & came across the lemon ones, which got great reviews. They were delivered a few minutes ago & I tried one and it was delightful! It has a true lemon flavor, no artificial taste at all. Sold!!! Will definitely buy again. Loved the texture of the almonds in this bar as well.

Pleasantly tart - didn't really remind me of a lemon pie or lemon bar so much as some sort of citrus cake/muffin. Chewy, which I appreciated because it feels sort of satisfyingly substantial, particularly when I'm eating one of these because I've run out of other foods. When I have an assortment of other items in my kitchen, sometimes one of these bars is my dessert.

These taste great and give enough energy to make it to the next meal. Great if you are running out the door in the morning, if you need a snack in the afternoon.
