I received it as a gift, it quickly became my go to rod. It's easy to collapse and carry. It has great feel and response for setting hooks after bites. The folding handle is great for added compact design and easy to carry. Works great for Crappie and Bass. If the bail didn't sometimes spring too early when casting id score it a 5 for price and quality. That is my only gripe. Will recommend to not be too rough when collapsing because the tip is awful thin and could snap.

We actually keep two of these PLUSINNO combos in our motorcycle saddle bags, and they’ve held up great. The compact size makes them easy to store without taking up much space, and the light weight means they don’t add bulk on long rides. Each rod extends smoothly and feels sturdy once it’s set up. The reel is surprisingly good for the price, smooth and quiet, with no line tangles so far. Storage capacity is just enough for what we need on the go, and the whole combo feels like solid value for how convenient it is. If you like having a ready-to-use setup for impromptu fishing stops, this one fits perfectly. Great fishing at reasonable price!

I bought this with some hesitation and reasonably low expectations. This rod and reel are worth the money and more. The construction of the rod and reel are very tight. I don't know how long this rod will last or how it will wear over time but out of the box it seems to be constructed to last. It's a little unbalanced but the sensitivity is perfect for a medium action rod. I love the way it performs and is very portable. The line and lures are mediocre at best. The value is in the rod mostly and the reel carries it's weight with value.

carbon is sturdy. bought a couple of these outside of the kit to throw in the truck to pick up pan fish while out hunting down in Florida. They've held up really well to rolling around. The reel has survived also. I do expect the rod to outlast the reel on these. which isn't a terrible thing. for the price is hard to beat.

Pile of garbage. Once extended, top extension became stuck and will not collapse back down. Unfortunately this was a birthday gift purchased in advance for a friend and can no longer be returned as it’s out of the “return window”. My hope is that others were successful in using this pole but my honest opinion for this contraption is to not waste your money on this thing.

Tip broke easily. But would still buy again. Easily fixed with some super glue. Good pole for the price and it comes with a nice case.
