Just started using it today so cannot really speak to long term durability. However, the connections on each end snap firmly into place and the cable sheathing material seems to be well made (it is a woven nylon fabric like covering). I suspect that if you are not careful, it may eventually fray. However, the short length of the adapter (4 inches) makes it less likely that it will be repeatedly rubbing against an abrasive surface so I am not so concerned about this as I do not anticipate abusing this adapter.The reason I got this adapter is to be able to use my USB-C to USB-C cables on my iPhone and iPad. Generally, I use dedicated USB-C to Lightning cables, but I wanted to cut down on the number of cables that I needed when traveling Also, I wanted to be able to use my USB-C to USB-C cable that happens to have a digital meter on it displaying the power (in watts) when charging.For travel, it is a big plus that it is relatively short and so is easily transportable. Unlike the small thumb-drive like rigid adapters, it is less likely to be lost, AND, most importantly, does not extend the moment arm of the rigid piece sticking out of the Lightning port, making it less likely to accidentally get torqued, thus breaking either the adapter or the port as the short length of cable allows for flexibility and serves as a stress breaker between the adapter and the Lightning port on your device.Also, because of the shape of the Lightning end of the adapter, it easily clears my protective cases to fit into the Lightning port, even with a thick rubberized protective case (in my case an OtterBox) on my phone.The short length of the cord also does not seem to induce any additional resistance (at least any significant amount of resistance) into the line as charging times do not seem to be affected.In conclusion, for the short time I have been testing this adapter, it is working as planned for my use case and I am very pleased with this purchase. Time will tell of course regarding the durability of this device, as some others have reported early problems with the cord fraying and failure of the adapter itself.

Perfectly made; just did not work for the purpose I intended, which was to adapt lightning female on an iPad to a USB-C female so I could plug a microscope camera in. No issue with the adapter.

Worked as expected, will have to see how long the lightning side lasts under use like any cable

I bought this adapter so that I could alternately charge an iPad Pro (Lightening connector) or a Samsung tablet (USB-C connector) using the same USB-C cable that was plugged in behind some furniture. There were some cheaper alternatives available on Amazon, but this one appeared to be more reliable.The iPad Pro charges perfectly and does not give any error messages. It connects solidly and seems to be built well. It is worth it to pay a little more and get a reliable device. I've been burned several times on Amazon when I've purchased cheap adapters, chargers, etc. They often either don't work or fail quickly.This AGVEE adapter is worth the extra money.

This item broke and would no longer charge after about a month of use. Total waste of money.

they're strictly for charging and data transfer - don't expect to plug in headphones or use with card readers. But for a simple, reliable adapter, the AGVEE does exactly what it promises!. I got a new iphone 16 but still have my old airpods and iphone 14 that i need to keep charged , this reduces teh amount of cables i need carry
