Pilot juice up 04 Retractable Gel Ink Pen, Ultra Fine Point 0.4mm, Black Ink, LJP-20S4, Value Set of 5

I don't know why I love pens and why I hoard them. I discovered these pens first from Kinokuniya in Little Tokyo, and totally hooked. The 0.3mm needle doesn't produce enough ink because I write fast even though I like the accuracy this needle creates. 0.5mm is too big and produces too much ink and finally found 0.38mm~ 0.4mm and it's perfect. It brings out enough ink, the black color ink is not as saturated and creates fine lines similar to 0.3mm without being too bulky. The pen writes very smoothly and recommend the milky colors, the metallic colors as well.The pen is lightweight and retractable which is convenient when not in use. The design is cool too with the metal tip, however the only drawback is you cannot see how much ink you have left. I tried to unscrew the tip to see the components inside the pen, and cannot get to it. The bottom half is made of rubber for your kung fu grip and won't slide. Pilot in general make amazing pens so this one is at the top of their list.

These are some great pens. They were recommended to me by a friend and they feel great in my hand. The drying time is a few seconds, which is better than many other pens I’ve had. The black ink is great and is super smooth. Would highly recommend someone looking for a 0.4 size pen, something less intense and thick than the classic 0.7 or 1 mm!

I searched for months to find a pen that had a micro thin line AND didn’t bleed. These are perfect! I use these for my job where we have documentation that requires clear and precise writing in small spaces. I have been using these pens for over a year now and won’t use any others.

I was a little hesitant to get a pen this fineline but these are fantastic for my bullet journal and condensing my normally large handwriting into the space on my calendar.

Great fine point pen! It doesn't smudge at all, even if I swipe on it right after writing. Great pen for lefties (or a mighty like i am that writes like a lefty).

I love writing with these pens and the ink dries pretty quickly so as a lefty, I don't get ink smudges on my hand. Only problem is that sometimes they will stick or jam. Thankfully it isn't too bad and some moderate scribbling get the tip working fine again. Would recommend.

These pens are great. I never had an issue with the quality, the quality is awesome. This is probably the third time I bought a pack of these pens (I’ve been using them for the past two years extensively every day). You don’t have to push the pen for it to write, compared to the basic BiC office ballpoint pens, and it never hurts my hand due to that. The ink is potent and is really visible, it never leaves dry marks. Awesome product, I do recommend for school work! (Its great for drawing too)
