When shopping for my daughter's first major Halloween costume, I was looking for three things: accuracy, comfort, and durability. This Deluxe Boo Monster Tunic Costume surpassed all my expectations and is higher quality than I would’ve expected at this price. It’s a meticulously crafted piece of dress-up gear and we were so impressed. I. It was good. Unfortunately the hat/mask was to heavy for the little one. It kept falling off and it was also a little to big; teeth on the mask kept getting in the eyes. The rest of the costume was a great fit.

I got this for my 2-year-old for Halloween. It comes as three pieces - a little shirt with the tentacle sleeves, a purple vest, and the purple hood with the googly eyes. There are no pants or leggings included so you will have to find something to coordinate. The shirt has little holes near the end of the sleeves so hands can be out or covered - this is a good thing because my daughter got frustrated not being able to grab candy for herself. The shirt is the lowest quality item of the set - a few times on and off and the fabric ripped right next to the Velcro at the neck. That wasn't a big deal since it gets covered by the vest anyway. The vest slides on over the arms and velcros up in the back. It's pretty thick and sturdy feeling, a little padded. The hood is made similarly, but the designer did not think about the logistics of keeping the hood secured to a child's head; inside the top is a little pad to protect their head from where the eyes attach, presumably. Attached to this is a little cap of stretchy fabric meant to go over the child's head and velcro under the chin. The problem is that it is not large enough or sturdy enough to stay - it was always slipping off backwards or coming unhooked. All that said, the quality of the eyes, hair, teeth, etc are fantastic and look just like you would expect from the movie. My solution was to sew the hood onto the vest so it behaved more like a hoodie, though it still fastened in the back which made it a bit awkward. I tried to get some pictures of this but it is a bit difficult to show. By doing this I could let the top of the hood fall back like it is often worn in the movie, which my daughter preferred, and then put it up on her head for pictures. It actually worked best in the stroller, cause it stayed propped up but didn't block her face so she didn't notice. Long story short, if you are crafty and like doing some DIY, this is a super costume with a bit of work. If you want something ready to go right out of the box, keep looking.

This costume was great for my daughter to dress up like Boo. The head piece does not stay up, but in the movie she runs around with it down anyways and it’s more comfortable to trick or treat with it down. Like everyone else says it runs large, but in the movie it fits large anyways. It also worked to fit a coat under the costume for my daughter. Overall it was great for the price.

Super cute and warm in the middle with the double layers and finger coverings working like thin gloves. Mask was a bit too heavy and slipped, suggest a headband or something to pin in hair.

Ran a little small and and she wouldn’t keep the hood on so I home made a headband with eyes and mop hair

めっちゃ可愛い！でもみんな言ってたように頭が後ろにいってしまうので、ちゃんと着てないとブーなのかわからず… でもわかればすごく可愛いです！4歳の娘に購入しましたが、5.6歳もいけそうなサイズ感です。

Esta muy bonito, justo como es el de Boo aunque hubiera estado bien que incluyeran las mallas de la misma tela de los brazos. Mi bebé de 2 años no entiende el concepto de disfrazarse y no se lo quiere poner, pero se lo compre 3-4 para tomar mejores fotos los próximos años, porque este me costo que se dejara retratar. Este le queda poco grande pero bien, similar al gran tamaño del disfraz de Boo en la película.

This was prefect! My daughter turned 2 in Oct and is about 25lbs, not slim but not chunky either. It did fit but I should have gone for 3T, the T-shirt part with sleeves was a little tight.
