Sturdy
I say sturdy because when it arrived the packaging was destroyed. Fear not it was still in one piece and works perfectly. The two settings are ideal as the 100w heats the glue to such a temperature it is workable for much longer

Efficient and Reliable Mini Glue Gun.
I recently purchased the Assark Glue Gun and found it to be a great addition to my DIY toolkit. The build quality is impressive, ensuring durability for various projects. Setting it up was a breeze, and the 60-watt option worked perfectly for my needs, providing a reliable and quick adhesive solution. The inclusion of 15 glue sticks adds tremendous value for money. If you’re in need of a reliable mini glue gun for school crafts or quick home repairs, this one ticks all the boxes.

Very capable glue gun for crafting and DIY
⭐ This hot glue gun heats up quite quickly in 3 minutes, so it is ready to use quite quickly. It comes with 15 glue sticks in the pack, so you have everything you need to get gluing. The gun accepts the standard size of glue stick. There is a small rubber bung provided to cover the glue stick hole, but I don’t think that part will get much use as you would just leave the part-used glue stick in place once you are finished. ⭐ The tip is metal, with a fairly small opening, which gives you a more precise application of glue to the area that you need. Operating is easy with a trigger to release the melted glue and pull the solid glue stick further into the mechanism. ⭐ The glue gun features a fold-up holder to steady the gun when you put it down, although I found that, while a good idea in practice, the mains wire wanted to flip over the gun, and it was best simply laid on its side. The gun could be a little cheaper in my view, as I have other guns that are just as technically capable but without the slightly steep price. To be fair, it does have a few extra features. ⭐ There is a power level switch provided on the side, which is a good idea in principle, although I think just leaving it on maximum makes sense unless you want to put the gun down for a little while and keep the gun heated but not at full power. Not so good is the mention of this glue gun being used by children, as the tip on the gun becomes very hot indeed. I think, at best, some adult supervision is required. Other than that, it is a handy glue gun that works very well and compares favourably with the other glue guns that I have. ✔️

Well made, light enough to be easy to handle without any fatigue
Having an old Stanley glue gun that was starting to struggle to feed glue sticks through, this provides a good alternative to take over for major hot glue jobs! I do have a cordless glue gun for smaller projects, using whichever suits the size of the project, this glue gun takes the same size sticks, whereas the Stanley had its own bespoke size! So will be easier to maintain a supply of glue in the workshop – it takes 11mm if like me, you could not make sense of the imperial measurement given in the advert! This unit seems well made, light enough to be easy to handle without any fatigue. I was surprised at how quickly it heated up – certainly at the quicker end of the stated 3-5 minute heat up time, with the glue coming out cleanly and smoothly, with no dribbles and not a lot of effort exerted on the trigger. When dried, provides excellent adhesion, with the glue drying to a slightly opaque colour, normal for this type of glue. The two settings (100w & 60w) are to give different options, with the 60w giving glue that dries quickly and the 100w for projects where a slower drying time is required. The 60w is indicated by a red LED and the 100w by a green LED. I had expected the LED to show it reaching operating temperature, maybe showing red then going green when ready; however it does not offer this, so you have to try the trigger after the appropriate time to see when it starts to flow. Not a big issue, just would have been useful information, as it does state not to pull the trigger when pre-heating! It has the same issue that all corded glue guns seem to suffer from, the cable exerts so much pull when you try and put it down on its stand, it becomes quite unstable. The built in wire stand it comes with just about keeps it upright, but would not rely on it! A good upgrade on the Stanley glue gun for me!

Very handy for lightweight tasks.
My partner owns a body shop, and they often find themselves sticking decals to cars and other such light work where a glue gun is a necessary item. He already has one in use, but a second one is always welcome, and he’s been putting this to the test. He’s impressed with it so far; the lead is long enough to reach most tasks at around 5ft/1.5m and the quality and sturdiness of the product is good for the environment it’s being used in. It heats up relatively quickly, taking between 3-5 minutes to get to full heat. You can choose between 60w or 100w depending on the job at hand, and it comes with 15 glue sticks so is ready to use. It also has a small stand at the front which you can use to prop it up so it’s not lying flat on a work surface. Overall, he’s impressed with this, and although it’s only being used for smaller more lightweight tasks around the body shop (they're obviously not gluing bumpers on with it) it’s still proven to be a handy item to have.
