I got this to replace the wire running from phone company jack to the DSL adapter. The connection is good; However, I expected the jacket to be a thickerdiameter than the standard phone wire and it wasn't. I was hoping for a thicker jacket to resist chewing kittens who gnawed a short in the previous cable.

Needed a line to connect a fax machine to a digital fax modem that sits about 12 feet away, but wanted some extra length to snake it around/under some other furniture in the way. This did the trick. Faxes work. A+

I bought this for my new phone. The cable works. I don't know if the sound quality could be better, because it has been a long time since I have used a landline. I'm basically happy with the cable.
