The company does a pretty good job of giving multiple adaptors to fit a range of grinders. Its just impossible to cover them all.In my case, none of the adaptors fit my Dewault sander/polisher so I made my own to fit with some pvc pipe. This also allowed me to adjust the height on the guard to accommodate my grinding wheel which was taller than the recommeneded height of 1.6". But at the cost of these grinding wheels I was determined to make it work. I also replaced the clamping handle with just a nut and bolt so I could tighten it down more.I was grinding thin set off a concrete floor in a very small bathroom , and the amount of dust I would have been exposed to too would have been too much. This attached to my shop vac worked great. Better than I had expected. Just wish I had done this sooner.

This seems solidly built. My primary complaint is there is no positive attachment to the grinder. The friction between the plastic clamping washer and the grinder is as good as it gets. The cam lever lock is a little insubstantial and the amount additional force it provides is negligible. Be prepared to tighten the clamp with a 1/2" socket to keep it from wobbling around. The vacuum port is metric and the included rubber adapter is largely useless. It does not adapt to any standard US vacuum hose systems and the wall thickness reduces the opening to less than 1" so will likely create more of an obstruction than anything.Between the fitment and after fruitlessly searching for a vacuum adapter I was about to return it and go with something else. After doing more research, the only thing that is better is the Dustless Technologies D5850 and that is and eye-popping $120. This resigned me to making this one work.I've modified the clamping washer for a more positive attachment and found an adapter that matches the diameter and taper of the vacuum port and makes an extremely good connection:The Bosch VAC020 (NOT the Bosch VAC004. None of the adapters fit properly and on Dewalt I have to use 2 but it's all wobbly and clamping is at end of clamp range so no good.

My company uses a lot of dust collector shrouds for projects and this is far better than any other brand we've used. Very durable, solid attachment to grinder, shields dust better than others and the sliding hatch for edging was an unexpected bonus.

I had to wrap the circumference with duct tape to get any effective dust control.

Works well when connected to a “dustless vacuum”. I purchased for my business to grind down concrete floors after the flatworm guys did a poor job. The houses were passed paint and trim so dust control was very important.

Fitted my 12” hitachi cut off saw like a charm and kept the concrete dust to a minimum

Did the job as expected. I used it with a Ridgid 7" sander. The disc ended up being too low so I used extra washers to bring to a workable height.I had the dust shroud hooked to a cyclone separator & shopvac and had very little dust escaping. If you try a similar setup make sure to empty the cyclone whenever it reaches about half, and it works better if your shopvac has a fleece bag rather than letting all the fine dust hit the filter directly, that way the filter continues to perform well. For a large job you'll have to routinely clean the filter and replace the fleece bag etc (failure to do so and the dust will start escaping the shroud)My only complain is the edge opening door kept opening on its own. I had to fix it permanently to keep it in place.

Would definitely buy again

After trying 6 grinder brand I can officialy tell you this universaly doesnt fit most grinder. I MADE it fit a makita GA7050. The blade yould sit too low to grind. Had to add grinder shims to make it fit has this is way too thick for the blade to barelly be usefull.

Used the dust shroud to grind this pool. Wished the exhaust outlet was a 2 "
