Isotoner Women’s Classic Terry Ballerina Slipper: Soft, Breathable, Terry Lined, Satin Bow, Secure Fit

I wear these year round. I have little carpeting and have slipped quite often on my floors. Wearing these keeps me from slipping, they are soft and comfortable and not heavy weight. I buy 1 size larger so they don't fit too tight with socks in the winter. I love that I can just throw them in the washer.

I was looking at all the slippers on amazon and I wanted something light because we just moved to the south so I seen these they looked so thin i was worried we'll the package came I was not sure until I opened the package and wow they are so comfortable I fell asleep with them on and that's coming from someone who can't sleep with socks on I highly recommend you try these out for yourself you won't be disappointed !!!!!also they fit perfect the one thing I don't like about them is when I'm cleaning they slip off the back of my foot which is weird because they fit so good

These are decent. They are isotoners, after all. They are well made and comfortable. The ONLY gripe I have is that with this style the heel slips off quite easily and frequently. Ticks me off a bit. I won't be ordering another pair like this, but I'll wear them for a while to at least get my money's worth. But no more ballet style for me.

I read the reviews before buying so followed the advice to buy UP in size. My foot is somewhat wide at the toes and I wear a size 8.5 - 9 shoe. So bought a size 9.5-10.5 and it fits fine. Actually a tad bit big. My foot could be wider and a bit longer and the shoe would still fit. Bought this shoe because I was reviewing old pictures and saw one with me in my pink ballet Isotoner house slippers. I loved those shoes. So I looked on Amazon and here they are. Still available. I bought 3 pairs: black terry, pink satin like my old ones and the fancy white satin with pearls. These black terry will be my everyday houseshoes. Very soft a bit plushy sole and while the shoe is a little loose - they stay on my feet just fine.

I’ve been wearing isotoner slippers for over thirty years. They’re my go-to house shoes for being comfortable and functional while I do laundry etc. This pair… the sole is bulkier than it used to be. It has comfy padding and good grip. But the heel is too short to stay on your foot. I have narrow feet. The heel is too short and slips off my foot immediately. Still comfy, but no longer functional. I can’t walk around the house in them.

Never...NEVER...would I have ever dreamed that ISOTONER would OR could let me down so profoundly especially when it came to my old standby THE terry balareena flat/slipper!!! UNTHINKABLE yet true nonetheless. I wear a size 8-8.5 in shoes, boots etc, sometimes a straight 8 in saddles or open footwear. So, I ordered the Large as the size chart references sizes 8-9---and my big toe was easily an inch past the rubberized sole and stubbed by the fullest extent of material...back they went and I ordered an XL, the next size option up, though their chart referenced a size 9.5 -10.5!!! Quite obviously they, like so many other products/clothing are SUDDENDLY being made much smaller sooooo, okay. Well, they are falling off my feet unless I shuffle which is utterly obsurd not to mention difficult given the sole. I thought of washing and DRYING them, but then thought better of it. And now almost every single review I've read for a similar slipper, regardless of manufacturer or material, ultimately describes the SAME problem either in sizing or in overall quality by comparison to the buyers past purchases of the same item. It appears that we are almost uniformly getting used to "sizing up" given the shift to offshore manufacturing. I'm a fairly liberal/"BLUE" person politically (Phil Ochs is laughing over that line), but come on guys, get your act together!! And to the brands that have been 'household names for decades, if you're going to shift to off shore manufacturing, institute some target-market-specific standards and quality control that doesn't leave your FORMER reputation in the dust!! ...okay, putting my 'soap box' away...Amazon customer service, PLEASE don't blacklist me, but I've got yet another return...

This is my second pair of these slippers and I love them. I normally take a women's size 10, so the XL size fits perfectly. They stretch nicely but don't fall off my narrow feet- and are comfortable and washable. The rubber sole allows me to wear them from inside to outside, which I do quite a bit in the spring and fall when I need a warmer slipper. Highly recommend these.
