I debated about this blanket because I wanted a beach blanket however there was a cheaper one without the stakes. I ended up going with this one and I was glad I did. We were at the beach and it was very windy, I tried the sand pockets but that didn't work at all. The blanket wanted to blow everywhere so I used the stakes and the blanket did not move. I had 6 2nd graders plus 2 adults on the blanket all at the same time. Everybody asked where I got it because it was the largest blanket and I could accommodate so many people.The downside - the sand stuck to the blanket and I couldn't get it off before putting it back in my bag. The kids weren't wet when they were sitting on it so I don't know why the sand was so sticky.The second issue, I struggle getting the blanket back in the bag. I've tried a couple of techniques but haven't found one that works every time.I'm still very pleased with the blanket and I'm excited to use it all summer.

I bought this very blanket in Orange for my husband and me. We vacation yearly with my parents and I purchased one in blue for them. This blanket is the best. It is lightweight, like a parachute. Rolls up to nearly nothing. Sand shakes right off. Laying it out takes seconds. We just throw it down and scrape a scoop of sand into each sand pocket and we're done. It never moves. My husband and I are large folks and we still have so much room on this blanket for ourselves and our cooler and bag. We love it.

Great Product! Sand free. I was extremely happy with this purchase. Not only was I able to fit this in my suitcase on my beach vacation, but I didn't even get any sand in my luggage on my returning flight. With a couple of swift shakes, the sand flew away. Also, the six sand pockets on the blanket worked very well on the windy days. Love it!

Great product for a busy mom with too much to pack to the beach. No more large-bulky beach towels that get covered in sand. Also washes out great. oversized! I feel confident putting my 5 month old on it and that its clean. Very good find

This is an awesome product! As a daycare teacher, I was able to take all 8 students in my class to the park and they all fit on this huge blanket. The stakes were a great bonus to help keep the blanket in place on our windy Oklahoma days!

Very happy with this purchase. Great value for the price. Just went to the beach for two weeks with three kids and we used it a ton. Love how compact it is. Looking forward to using this many more times.
