The media could not be loaded. I'm always out on the go what with kids, medical appointments etc. However the one thing I am terribly bad for is putting my mp3 player and phone onto charge. I opened the solar charger thinking I would need to charge it before use but it was ready to use. So simple plug in my usb leads and was ready to us. Started the trip to town with a almost dead phone. Put it onto charge with the solar charger open getting the sun on the way to town. By the time the we go town my phone and Mp3 player were charge so quick. So happy with this purchase and will definitely recommend to anyone in need of a solar charger. It folds away to the size of a mobile phone and the light on it is really cool and helpful.

The media could not be loaded. My family are planning a hiking trip. Needed a solar portable charger as a backup. This will do the job perfectly. Even with the London gloomy weather, it still manages to charge the charger via solar. But not as well as if it was clear sky. Manages to charge my sisters p10 pro in about an hour and a half. It is water proof which is ideal on a hiking trips. Due to that fact it is a large battery capacity, plus it has 4 solar panels, the unit is bulky and on the heavy side. Which is what I had expected.

Great device, on the heavy side (which was to be expected) but the image of it hanging on a backpack was misleading as the product has no fixtures or holes to hang it from a backpack and will require some makeshift fixing in order to be used in this way.

This is the first power bank I’ve owned and I very impressed with the build quality and performance.I have not owned this for very long so I cannot vouch for longevity of operation but so far it charges my Samsung Note 4 from 30% to full in around 40 mins.Most people may buy this for camping and travel but my main reason for buying this was to use it as an external power source for a dash cam while my car is parked. I didn’t want to wire my dash cam directly to my vehicles fuse box as I read this can give issues on my car model without a £300 power backup option. Using the Hiluckey Solar Power Bank was the perfect solution, it works completely independent from my vehicles power source with the added bonus that when folded open it will recharge itself!Unit itself seems nicely manufactured with durable plastic casing to back and sides. The three outer solar panels are backed with leather effect material with orange stitch detailing. All four solar panels also seem very durable with a matt coating rather than glossy finish. Another nice feature is the little strap that keeps the unit from falling open when shut closed.There are five tiny LED indicators on the side of the case 1 of which lights green when unit is unfolded and is receiving solar charge. The other 4 LED’s indicate the charge amount remaining.Connections are 2 standard USB’s and 1 Micro USBApproximate Measurements are 155mm x 85mm x 30mm. Weight is 500g

I brought this as I has going on a multi day hike and needed something that could charge my phone. Whilst I was looking at battery chargers i came across this one with added solar panels! Great I thought! I will attach it to my bag and let the sun do the rest. Beautiful sunshine for hours on end did very little to charge this hefty device. I charged it using the cable and the charge and at first lasted a few mobile phone charges. Then it kept taking longer and longer to charge the pack, even with the sun, and depleted even quicker. In the end it became a handy doorstop for my journey. I have spoken to the seller on my return who was incredibly helpful; the customer service is second to none

Solar power bank seems to be working okay

Charger worked great for a few days and I was really pleased with the purchase but only after two phone charges from it , it failed to charge the solar battery pack againDespite leaving the charger in sunny and bright light for more than two weeks it refused to charge the solar battery up at allKept flashing the ledThe plastic lining also started to lift which was disappointingGreat idea and looks like a really solid deviceUnfortunately it failed very early on and thus the low rating
