Great value
I ordered this unknown (to me) brand battery based on the review by Will Prouse regarding the build quality, the low temperature shut off, bluetooth monitoring, 200 amp charging, and the super low price. Battery arrived very well packaged. The terminals are high quality and solid. There are rope handles which is nice because its a beast.I charged it up with a 15 amp Victron smart charger, and installed the phone app. Note that for android the app is not currently in the app store and has ro be installed from the apk file, and some people wont be comfortable with that. Hopefully they fix that soon.Once installed the app has worked perfectly. I was able to see that it started at 40% charge, and charged overnight to 100%. The voltage of each of the 4 cells in shown and I could see they are balanced. In the morning I connected a Renogy 2000 watt inverter, powered a blow dryer, and monitored with the app that the power drawdown was appropriate. There's also a temperature indicator in the app.I can't comment on how this battery will last over time, but based on build quality and initial performance I fe great about it. With the discount I paid less that $900 for a 250 ah battery with 200 amp charging and that is amazing.

200ah LifePo4 winner
There's a new kid on the block with a 200ah LifePo4 battery that will knock the socks off of anything out there now. I personally weighed this baby in at a hefty 75 lbs - 50% heavier than other batteries in its class. This baby in a standard size case is chocked full with gigantic industrial cells like I have never seen. Not only that, but it has genuine low temperature protection with the sensor buried in the cells, along with the other normal safeties.I purchased a pair of them for my off grid 24v system over a weekend in Dec. and this fantastic U.S. seller had them had them packed and picked up by FedEx that Sunday evening. They also have a 100ah version of this fine battery. If you can tolerate a little extra weight, you won't go wrong these batteries. But what do I know - I'm just a 91 yr. old hot rodder from the days of the dinosaurs living in the woods of the Show Me state. These jewels are priced at a giveaway price now, so get yours before Will discovers them and the U.S. inventory is wiped out over night. Jim Verden

Well ain't it nice to be part of the fashionable crowd for once.
Howdy Folks! There's just a handful of us that bought these batteries. We are taking a chance and we won't know for a few years if it's a win.I picked this one because it has the low-temp cutoff sensor in addition to the high cut-off sensor. This battery was objectively the best featured battery in it's 200Ah category.I live in the high desert. Our outdoor temps range from -20f to 110f. It's a very harsh environment. I just bought a battery I can only use for half the year. But dammit, I have a real refrigerator and an evaporative cooler now. The rest of the year, my environment is a refrigerator so no tears wasted. For this reason I have to maintain a flooded (lead acid) battery bank in addition to this new Li battery but it's doing the work of 5 deep cycle marine batteries right now. It also means I will probably never be independent of biomass reactor heating in winter. Biomass means I cut down trees and chop them up and burn them to keep warm all winter long. What they say about "plug and play" certainly applied to my little Renergy Wanderer charge controller. Just press and hold the little grey button and the Wanderer senses the LiFePo battery and life is grand.I did use a conventional car battery charger for 15 minutes to bring the charge up to 13.32 volts. Because "current is current". Maybe I incurred damage to the battery there or maybe not. I have not yet got it charged enough to show above 14.2 volts. We should be in the 14.6v range but I have constant draw by some appliances. This could also be down to the fact that I used what I had on hand for wiring, not what the spec said for cables and such. I have 10AWG so that's what I used. I should have like 8AWG. As the Borg say, RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.They say these things are warrantied for 4 years. Actually a decade. Wait, a hundred years. A thousand years. Or until we go to war with China. Whichever comes first.I hope we all made a good investment. At least we know why we made this investment. We are betting on our future. As in we hope we have one.Bless you all in the name of God. Greetings from Lakota Nation, Pine Ridge Reservation USA, Harry Bird Tradition. Mitakuye Oyasin! Oyate yanipictelo. The people shall live!
